What is the attrctive part of women with chisled bods? Is it a desire to see a confused person that is easy to please by admiring their muscles like you can do with male body builders? The must take male hormone shots.
On the other hand...out of the corner of my eye at a supermarket checkout , I saw a "got milk?" ad of a 40+ middle-aded lady with pretty defined abs. I looked at it, looked at it again...
So, I was watching some retro show the other day and I see that early 90s George Michael video with all the models, you know? Freedom. Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista, Naomi Campbell, Christy Turlington, etc.
I was surprised how, well, natural those Amazonian supermodels looked next to the, as Michael Blowhard of 2Blowhards says, women with 'radioactive' teeth of today. Pluck your eyebrows, straighten your hair, whiten your teeth plus all the stuff David said. Maybe women like it because it's doable, if you have the money (I say this as a gal, you know?)
Do your ideas of beauty 'set' at a certain age, so that the current trends and fashions seem odd, bizarre, strange, unnatural?
Wanna flip yourself out? Look at that Nicole Kidman's movie, the one with the boat, when she was like 19 or so. Freckles, curly red hair, crinkly nose and crinkly forehead. No ghostly unrealness.....
*So says onparkstreet who kind of feels like it's better to just age a bit then look all 'radioactive' teeth ladyish. Although, I have had my teeth whitened, so I am a total hypocrite.
Onparkstreet: the movie was Dead Calm, with Sam Neill as her husband and Billy Zane as the psycho guy. Awesome movie, some of her best work. The curly red hair cracks me up, though. She was young and strong then, now she just looks petite and brittle.
ITA with those noting she's called "Scary Spice" for a reason. It's not a good look she's got going on there.
Looks fine to me. Reminds me, in fact, of a high school girl I had a crush on back in the mid-60s. Absolute killer body, and all before the advent of steroids and new varieties of cosmetic surgery.
I don't mind the muscles, but I really don't like to see the deep dark tan. I knew a girl who competed in "fitness dancing" competitions and she told me that if you didn't have the deep dark tan there was no way you could win. I think it's gross. Fair skin for me thanks.
Many years ago I went out with a 6'2" female weightlifter, and yes, it does look like that naturally (that was years before anyone used steroids.)
I married someone else, however, which is a good thing. I never was around Molly when she got really angry, and I'm pretty sure that's a good thing-- she certainly could have hurt me if she wanted to.
That's her natural skin color? Really? I don't remember any of the Spice Girls being black, but I never really paid any attention to them. That's a different story. I think when I see a white girl with a dark tan all I can think about is all that skin damage that will really come back to haunt later.
I think Cedarford is right regarding Dara Torres, who won a silver medal last Olympics, if memory serves, by being 1/100th of a second slower than the gold medal winner.
Abs look fine on her. She hasn't got the other freaky stuff going on. And it's actually her "natural" body, in the sense that its the body of a champion swimmer.
I think you have a choice between the washboard abs and the large breasts. Don't think you can have both.

Abs-solutely.
Silicone.
Dehydration.
Surgery.
Implants.
Tanning beds.
Tooth whitening.
Hair dye.
Riods (maybe).
What a lovely, natural looking girl.
On one hand I admire the effort it must have taken--unless it was done with steroids.
On the other hand, she is kind of scary.
She's Scary Spice for a reason. Now, pardon me while I go sadly contemplate others rock-hard 6 packs to my plush, soft party ball. :(

Natalie Trans has the abs video.
I really thought the first pic was airbrushed until I saw the next. Yikes.
I need to work on my abs.
Something is amiss in her lower right quadrant - either she has had surgery or been stabbed.
But she is unattactive.
Nothing new about this, In the 60's you could see women this buff at Venice beach.

I think they meant, "Got MILF?"
Some other pics of her "not-so-bad" physique....

Definitely, Scary Spice.
All that and I'll bet she still can't carry an injured person out of the World Trade Center.
To be fair, no one can - the WTC towers no longer exist.
She just needs breast reduction, to cut her hair really short, grow a penis, and then she'll be perfect
Way too much.
I don't like to see a woman or man that cut.
It's so weird looking.

Oh, yeah, thanks Joan.
Sam Neill is handsome, isn't he? I like men, and women, that look like they've lived life a little bit.
*Dr. Althouse, look what I found at the Urban Outfitters blog - seriously.

It's cute and arty.
A woman should have one belly, not six.
Looks fine to me. Reminds me, in fact, of a high school girl I had a crush on back in the mid-60s. Absolute killer body, and all before the advent of steroids and new varieties of cosmetic surgery.
Now, I'd be trilled to have to abs for myself!

That's not a deep dark tan Rick Lee, she is black.
I saw excess thigh fat near her bikini line, the last place you want to have excess thigh fat, when your fella is zoning in on that very area.
As a sculler, I have amazingly strong muscles.
As a middle aged woman, I have lovely softness over it.
I always liked the Marilyn Monroe shapely softness and some of my fave pix of me are when I'm done up and dressed up quite Marilynly.
Most straight men prefer the curviness to the cut. They really don't want to be out-testosteroned by the ladies.
Scary's hubby looks femmmie standing next to her. He should have kept up with the program.
Unless they're doing that whole metrosexual gender identity trading thing.
Well defined abs on a woman are a turn-on for me. The bubble-chest isn't, though. Is it really that hard to get a boob job that looks natural?

Just a skosh of ab envy going on here maybe.
Yikes!
A stick with boobs (and fake ones, at that). And abs. Some people think that's a great body?
And lol, David.
Maybe she had the freakish boob job to draw the eye upward away from her thigh fat.
Scary Spice is of mixed race ancestry-- English Mother and black African father by way of Nevis.
She looks much better without the red hair from her scary days.
Note that she just did a fitness video. You're pretty much required to be a bit more developed than if you're just trying to look hot.
"Is it really that hard to get a boob job that looks natural?"
When you have no body fat, yes.
