That video does absolutely nothing to ease my aching mind that is far too often fully cognizant of the fact that our cats take me for exactly what I am; a towering and oddly shaped conglomeration of: (1) an animatronic hand; (2) an electric heating pad; and (3) a vending machine that works for free.
What a great freaking life we give them and all because they’re cute.
That is exactly like my cat. Well, except the ending wasn't my cat with a claw hanging out of its mouth and feathers floating around the room. Other than that, exactly the same.
All cats care about is whether you have payed the mortgage and the food and power bills. They do allow us to live in their territory and rub on them, if we behave. Come to think about it, women and cats have much in common.
A cat's bite generally involves a puncture wound, which is always a dangerous place to have any infection. Cat saliva contains bacteria, unless you have trained the cat to gargle with Listerine.
Puncture + bacteria = BIG problem
However, in the case of the 'too and the kitten, I'm more inclined to be concerned about the kitten's safety. That's a *big* beak!
Their owner is not using good judgment, in my opinion. Some chances are best not taken - even for the sake of a "cute" video.
I'd rather know I'd avoided a mangled kitten's ear and/or a one-eyed parrot. Such things cannot be undone.

I wonder if that's safe. There's something in cat saliva that's really bad for birds if the skin is broken.
It's part of a don't-rescue-a-bird-that-the-cat's-got lesson.
Maybe just lore, I don't know.
Parrot thinks: How sweet!
Cat thinks: When the lady with the camera goes, Parrot al dente!
Which one is Meade?
How about a dog and an elephant:
Tarra and Bella CBS did a piece on the best buds.

And what’s so very bad about that, anyway!
YEAH!!!
Purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
The problem with parrots, is that they'll talk about you when you're not around. Cats, not so much.
God's motto for cats:
There's a little bit of Satan in every one.
Smart parrot. He knows a good scratch goes a long way with a cat.

This might be good lolcat material ("I can has bakscrach? Kthxbai.").
Cats and birds like each other.

Hey cat! It's THE CLAW!

But if your parrot loses an eye and a leg you’ve got yourself the beginnings of a comedy team destined for success!
BRAAACK. Pieces of eight. Pieces of eight. BRAAACK. [whistles.]
I like when the Parrot tells the Cat to back off the toe sucking @0:50 by saying "uh-uh" (not to be confused with uhuh).
Just in time for Caturday.
Bissage made me laugh.
BARAACK. Pieces of eight.
There. Just move one "A", and it becomes a politicaal thread.
All I know is that soon after the video stops there will be blood. I'm just not sure whose.
Cockatoo. That's a cockatoo, not a parrot.
(Very cute, though.)
And if you liked that video, you'll LOVE this one.
