I think you need a post "label" called "Obama incompetence". Don't forget when Obama named his 3 -person VP selection team, he announced the VP selection would be his campaign's most important task of the summer!
At least George W. hid his own knack for incompetence until after he was in office.
Ah, "Jim," another topic not to be discussed, per BHO! If not now, when, if not tomorrow, when? Perhaps "When" is never! Let's see, off topic include Rev. Jeremiah, Father Vanilla Ice, Bomber Ayres, Buddy Rezko, Ms "Never been Proud," and now "Jim!" How's the weather over there?
Issues not be discussed- the media is quite obedient.
The Phila Inquirer has yet to have a news article about the Jim Johnson distraction nor his being tossed under the boss. That makes it rather awkward for the Inquirer when they finally to report on a burial even though they never reported the person was ill and died (under a bus).
Fascinating the pushback the vaguely liberal political bloggers like Mark Armbinder are getting for even posting the story. Commenters are livid and profane saying they don't see why this is a story, that in fact it isn't a story at all, and if it is a story, McCain's worse because of, variously, Phil Gramm who apparently invented derivatives, and thereby unleashed the Furies, and some lobbyist on McCain's team who hasn't been fired yet who did some deal with Saudi Arabia. But that's the more complicated response. The basic response is, I can't believe how the Rethuglicans got the corporate media to run with this non-story. And you of all people Mr. or Mrs. Liberal Blogger I used to read, you are a wanker so screw you.
Incredible. The Obama fans simply declare every story other than Obama's magicalness, his fine family and his brilliant Internet strategy completely off-limits. Not even on racial ground. Simply on grounds that these stories serve Republican interests, so anyone who repeats them or finds news value in them is a Republican stooge.
I wonder how bloggers like Mark Armbinder are likely to react to this pressure. Will this be the last "bad" Obama story he runs with?
From Rush Limbaugh yesterday regarding Jim Johnson:
"In 2001, he joined Perseus, LLC, as vice-chairman. Perseus has a number of funds. Among them are the Perseus Soros Biopharmaceutical Fund LP, which Perseus co-manages. It was formed in 2000 with capital commitments totaling $449 million to make investments in life science companies." So Perseus -- it might be Perseus, I'm not sure. I've never heard it pronounced. It's P-e-r-s-e-u-s. "Perseus is a business partner with George Soros; and Johnson, one of Obama's vice presidential vetters, is the vice-chairman. Incidentally, the Say Anything blog notes that Perseus also seems to own the publisher of the Scott McClellan book." So George Soros' business partner is helping select Obama's veep. How interesting that Obama just keeps coming up with friends and appointees with very dubious associations, who are no more than Democrat Party hacks. Some change, eh?"
The Obama fans simply declare every story other than Obama's magicalness, his fine family and his brilliant Internet strategy completely off-limits.....
I just pray that if McCain wins, it's not close, because otherwise we are in for the longest, loudest temper tantrum ever. They are not going to accept losing unless it's very decisive.
Obama has made three very lousy choices to head his VP screening task force: Caroline Kennedy-a lightweight, Jim Johnson - greedy Beltway insider and Eric Holder- a Beltway insider who arranges pardons for rich scuzbags.
This suggests Obama will make a poor choice for his VP.

Both McCain and Obama have set for themselves high standards of purity
McCain with mostly unpredictable crazy-person bouts of internalized honor, Obama with predictable bouts of soap opera purity-narrative.
Thought this was going to be about Jim McKay.
He was a good guy and will be missed.

Riding in a Stutz Bearcat?
The March of the Wooden Soldiers?
Oh, Sweet Jane!
Quick, anything to distact from MCain's comment that "it's not that important" when the troops come home.
Or from his repeated, uh, confusion about Sunni versus Shia.
Per what BHO is doing, those "nasty" comments about Johnny Mac are off limits, ya hear!
Quick! Change the subject. Distraction, that it. Again.

Your concern for troops is touching but McCain is right. Winning the war is more important than bringing everybody home by some arbitrary date.
Presumptive Candidate Obama need not worry, I've come up with a short list for him.
(and how do you fire an ummmm, ahhh, ummmm, ahhh, unpaid volunteer)

Barack Obama is George Soros's tool.

The first order of business in the first year of the permanent Obama Presidency will be to outlaw negative news about the savior.
Thankfully, it's so much easier to photoshop Jim Johnson out of photographs than the clunky old way the Soviets had to use.
And please remember, all news organizations should strive to publish more Obama-looking-into-the-future photos.

Regarding Obama: "They are not going to accept losing" regardless. No modifier applicable to an Obama loss!
If he wins, it's then payback time, if he losses, it's due to whitey's racism.
Either way, it's a perfect setup for the Dems. Their new motto is "Let the Bad Times Roll!"
Jim dim
Obama drama
Jim trim
Obama calma'
That's change you can believe in. But you may not speak about.
Obama has made three very lousy choices to head his VP screening task force: Caroline Kennedy-a lightweight, Jim Johnson - greedy Beltway insider and Eric Holder- a Beltway insider who arranges pardons for rich scuzbags.

Did my comment disappear through blogger.com munging, or did you wipe it, Ann?
I don't mind as it was really intended for you and if you wiped it you must have read it.
I am just surprised that there's no 'this post was removed by a blog admin'.
So if it got wiped by blogger, shall I repost?
I didn't delete anything.
It seemed unlikely. (Basically I advised you revert to the last self-photo.)
