Very interesting and enlightening podcast. Being a relatively new audience member, I was fascinated at how far you've come in just two years, from those tentative step-by-step beginnings, to your extremely confident and well-composed current blogs and podcasts. Happy anniversary, and happy (belated) birthday, too.

You know...if you keep calling your Necco wafers post your "most obscure post" it won't be that for much longer.

Listening to #32 right now. Regarding the "Princeton Haircut" post and the now-dead link, you should always try the Wayback Machine. They've archived that post here.

Thanks, CC. I'd never heard of that, but I've changed the link.

The Web Archive has been around for a while. While it has higher purposes like research using old web documents, it's great to take a blast from the past and look at old home pages of you, your friends, companies, universities and even of distinguished law profs before they blogged! Here's the 1997 version of your faculty page complete with picture in your mellow yellow office.

ccmcornell: Wow! Look at that red red hair and that teeny tiny monitor!

It's interesting that the only people, Google-wise, with my last name outside of Pennsylvania are in Milwaukee. If I drop one letter, there are thousands in this country. Although two nephews did head to Mass., It's a name of Polish ancestry, so obviously it's a whopper to spell. Maybe one immigrant official meeting the boat one day, over a hundred years ago, decided to add a letter to it and then dropped it from there on.

Ruth Anne, thanks for pointing out the red hair. I'm color deficient (blind) so I don't always see colors correctly or pay much attention too them (I did notice the yellow walls though!) This is especially true when I assume things are certain colors from context. I guess I just assumed she was blonde and didn't detect the red (I'm red/green deficient.) Now that you mentioned it, I can see it.
