Audible Althouse #31.

Today's podcast is about light things and enlightenment. There is talk of drugs and pop music and fashion. There is the moral problem of the beanbag chair, the philosophy "It's all good," and the pure joy of feeling anything at all, even the touch of a lizard on a windowpane. (Stream it here.)

What about the man in the crowd with the multi-colored mirrors on his hobnail boots?

(Still haven't listened to a podcast, but couldn't resist asking the question.)

I think we know what he's doing with his hands.

I loved the podcast today. Especially the part about "album" music vs "singles" music, and the old notebook readings. But is there a way for you to increase the volume a bit? Every time a car goes by on my walk, it drowns you out. See the waveform representations at http://ripnread.blogspot.com/2006/01/say-it-louder-please.html

I listen hard, but I lose a lot.
