The Amsterdam Notebooks—Page 12.

It's Day 12 of this 35 day project. (The set thus far.) Today's page shows my fascination with language, both Dutch and English as seen by the Dutch. With a little Salvador Dali barrette to go with the fashion theme on the second side of the page.

The Dutch with their usual disregard for vowels destroyed my last name 300 years ago. It was Amee, they made it Eemigg. We've since changed it to make no sense whatsoever.

I haven't commented too much on specific posts, but I did just want to say how much I've appreciated this look into the Netherlands via your notebook.
