Sometimes when we post a comment, in this here blog, we get a second date stamp just below the first one. I believe Althouse referred to them as "ghosts".

That reminded me of an old video (1 year ago by a top tier YouTuber) that mentions our ghosts in the common context of "dying twice". Once, when we expire, and then again when our name is said for the last time. The video is about our the other "ghosts" which may remain in dozens of ways.

He gets to the point of the video (about 20 minutes) in a way that confirms his hypothesis?. Hint: Remember The Althouse vortex?

Got the kids out with me this morning for our run.

The sunrise down here wasn't that pretty. The air is clear and much drier this time of year but not enough dust in the air for that shade of red.

I'm watching "The Paper" from the people who brought us (the American version of) "The Office." It has some funny moments, and some cringey ones. I'm conflicted about how good it may be, but worried that some form of mass hypnosis will get people watching it for another 9 seasons.

The weird thing is that Irish actor Domhnall Gleeson's American voice sounds uncannily like Ron Howard's. He even looks and acts a bit like a caricature of Howard in his younger years. Intentional somehow? Or just accidental?
