I keep reading headlines about how MAGA is fracturing over their competition for ideas and strategies. It makes me suspect that the DNC has told the MSM to close their eyes click their heels together three times and say there's no place like home there's no place like home...
Is the left really short sighted enough to try bringing discrimination lawsuits against X for not being white enough, when they were really too ideological? Maybe, but that would risk tearing apart a core part of the disemployment strategy.
Ironically, the current kerfuffle builds Musk up as a diverse meritocrat, while making Bannon look like an ethnic nationalist. Great for both sides of the charade continues.
Shortly, House Republicans will pass a spending bill from Congress that will fund NPR. It will send billions in grants to liberal universities such as Harvard. Established Democrat NGO's will get new billions to funnel back to the DNC. Ukraine will get billions, but there won't be any money for rebuilding the communities destroyed by hurricanes in North and South Carolina. The bill will include or be accompanyied by another raising the debt ceiling allowing all this taxpayer money being funneled to Democrats to be borrowed and never paid back - to forever impoverish future Americans.
Donald Trump is going to sign that bill into law. Betraying everybody who voted for him.
No matter how short-sighted you think the left is, if they think there's ANY political gain to be made from something obviously stupid on the face of it, they'll leap at the chance.
All the media waits for is the talking points of the day so they're all on the same page. There's strength (and safety) in numbers, even when they're being destructively stupid and destroying their credibility...
It’s surprising that the Trump approval rating isn’t higher with so many of us on the other side not getting out of bed to answer the doorbell or our phones.
These are happy times? With the potential cabinet of horror? I am cringing and hoping that these bumbling idiots are never confirmed and that the power of DJT will be curbed by reality.
The transition has been okay, but I could do with less of the attendant drama -- and comedy. The strength of Trump last time was that he focused on the essential and didn't get weighed down by ideological debates that had been going on for decades without results or resolution. I hope he doesn't get caught up in fruitless speculations of his own now. Canada, Greenland, Panama, etc.

You know, if I were Trump I'd've started draining the swamp by being inaugurated at Mar-a-Lago. There's no official reason to have the ceremony there. It's not like we are going to be treated to having Obama sit there seething at his successor. I suspect he would have more security at his own place and if they want to "demonstrate" in DC, let them. By doing this this he could let them know he can really get along without them much of the time.
I did my damndest to ignore and actively avoid the election borborigmi, eructations, flatulence and hyperdefecation in the media. I'm continuing to do so with the transition. Having started my political awareness with that ratfucking ratbastard Nixon, I long ago learned that politics as a sport of competing outrages isn't productive use of my time. I have things to do, and glancing in momentarily, intermittently, is enough to both disgust me anew and keep me up to speed.
If you aren’t more optimistic now that the cabal administration is on the way out I’d prefer you spend your days taking walk in the woods. For the good of the rest of us…
I certainly hope people are excited about the looming Trump Presidency, and the steps he has taken already (and just having someone in charge), but I do want to point how how shit polls actually are. I am reading "Beyond the Horse Race," a 2024 book about how to read polls by the well-known pollster John Zogby. Early in the book, he actually (again, in 2024!) states that he "honestly believes that Gore did in fact win Florida in 2000 and hence the election" (p. 5, for those following the bouncing ball), based entirely on his preelection polling showing Gore doing "sufficiently well enough in south Florida" and better than expected in the center and the north of the state.
He maintains this, in print, 24 years later, completely ignoring that the most accurate "poll" - the actual election where instead of extrapolating from a small, non-representative sample they counted all of the actual votes - show that Bush won the original count (despite the networks calling it for Gore before the polls closed in the heavily-Republican pan-handle), won the automatic recount, won the manual recount of votes cast in machine-counted districts, increased his lead when they got around to counting the overseas absentee ballots (primarily military folks, not sure why no one cared about getting them counted by the deadline), and at no point in anyone's counting was Gore ahead (and in 2004, an analysis of the whole mess determined that Bush almost certainly won under any particular procedure). Zogby does not mention any of this, just says he thinks Gore really won. He is one of the primary people telling you who is ahead in every election since then.

i just pray that we somehow make it to Jan 21st..
i Really have my doubts
Trump is not sworn in yet - and the leftwing Biden-protection racket press - can only obsess over Trump.
Isn't it astonishing that the entire press ignored and still ignore- Biden's family corruption and pay-to-play international grifting?
Yes.
Elon and Steve Bannon seem absolutely joyful with their back and forth!

Vivek gets it.
The leftwing press are bitter D-loyalist defeated lying a-holes. They lie.
Trump is not even president and he’s already making polls great again.

I am pleased that Biden administration "analysts" are desperate and unhappy.
I see CNN's viewer is trending Trump.

Mark my words.
They see it as something to aspire to, and thus support whole-heartedly.
Let's see those poll numbers in June. Trump has a long slog ahead of him.

Indeed. Many of the insiders (think Liz) are on the take in similar fashion.

Right now, they’re just prepping the battlespace. What’s important is what starts happening on January 20th.
You'll always have the memory of Crook Joe and masses of illegals - and illegal criminals - to hold onto for happier times.

You keep reading , Howie. Hopefully, it will slow the obvious brain shrinkage.
"Trump's transition"?

Head down to Pico and Sepulveda, Vicki. That’s where you’ll ply your trade with little interference from LEOs.

We could have had joy, but we'll have to settle for happy.... Either way, we'll have a gay old time.
Cracker, please. The doucheiosie is frantic, 24/7, to air their hysteria regarding Trump. It fills their days and stalks their thoughts.

It's OK for now. Perhaps his gang of oddballs can do something about the fentanyl.
Bannon is slovenly [to borrow word from earlier post]

Yes. It' s Dyn-o-mite!
But the storm is gathering.

Right, dems are the ones unlikely to respond to a poll about Trump right now.
