I hear there's a lot of American-Antia-Nazi BLM style looting going on there.

The large Somali population in Minneapolis is just a coincidence so don’t even think it.

The “kid” that was shot had 17 priors - including driving away from police like he did at the stop that got him killed - supposedly with the policeman hanging out the side window when he took off. But undoubtedly he was turning over a new leaf, on his way to university.

This is not going to end well in Europe because sooner or later the general populace is going to “riot” in the areas where the usual suspects live and start playing the burn the ant nest down to get rid of them game.

The thing is though, that after centuries of colonial ravages, genocide, and the slave trade. After NATO created waves of refugees out of Libya, which offered Russia a naval base, and Syria, which offered Russia a naval base, the West may want to reconsider a global security policy that depends on spreading mayhem outside of European and North American territories, like the civil wars that we just created in Sudan and Peru.

I don’t think that China is going to play the hapless dupe after watching how we play the game. I think that they are going to enforce their red lines far more stringently.

I don’t watch cable news, but my theory is that coverage of France would help Trump, so they are minimizing it.

Magic dirt theory failure #4,376. Hmmm...maybe just putting Rwandan and Algerian immigrants on French soil doesn't make them good little Frenchman. Just a thought.

The 'Angela Merkel' Open Border for Europe plan is working out well all over the continent.

And as someone here already mentioned, anyone seen what Minneapolis looks like these days? Not saying immigration is bad. I'm saying some immigrants from some parts of the world have zero intention of assimilating. That's a problem. Just ask France. UK. Sweden. Norway. Italy, Belgium. Greece.

Wide boulevards in Paris were built in Napoleon's time, so that troops in line could fire upon mobs of protesters with better effect. The French know how to stop protests, and can do so. The question is, will Macron watch Paris burn after the concert, or watch the rioters be made to stop rioting?

The Texas Rangers had a reputation of "one riot, one Ranger" because they were trained to identify the leaders of the mobs and remove them from the rioting. Surely the French police have an officer or two with such awareness, as well.

If this doesn't get Le Pen elected nothing will.

The French are a strange, selfish people. They still today exploit African nations for their own financial benefit. They have brought this upon themselves in many ways.

Macron claims rioters are just mimicking video games. And yes, heads to an Elton John concert. Seems everything is going according to plan.

Coming soon to a Great Britain and Ireland near you.

"If this doesn't get Le Pen elected nothing will."

And it still might not. Europeans are deathly afraid of national socialism's retrenchment, and it is precisely that fear that will cause it to rise from the ashes like a phoenix. They don't understand that allowing this to continue fans the flames of ultra-nationalist and xenophobic sentiment, so instead of dealing with the problem head on now they're willing to wait until it's too late and governments are instituted that put the African immigrants diaspora in concentration camps.

In short French people - and all of us by extension- can deal with this problem now or they can deal with it later. The difference is the longer they wait the more exteme 'the solution' becomes. We can deal with this solution using the law now or we can wait until the law is simply rewritten to do what needs to be done later at a time when choices other than savagery will be limited.

Our choice. Deal now. Deal later. But it will be dealt with, one way or another.

Please stop repeating the myth that Napoleon redesigned Paris for crowd control. Just stop.

On the main point, it's far too late for Europe now. Social chaos up to and including ethnic and civil wars are on the table, and the coming global depression guarantees it. We're better off here at the moment.

Remember when there were Muslim workers in the Notre Dame cathedral and suddenly, after centuries, it caught fire? Don’t even think it you racists! It had nothing to do with it. It was an accident.

Does anyone in Paris have auto insurance that covers cars burning?

Might be a test case for the future of E/FVs (Electric/Flamable Vehicles).

Reddit threads on the riots repeat all the above points, vigorously. Sympathy for the rioters is very thin on the ground, even among commenters who begin their remarks with "I hate France and the French, but..."

Yancey Ward said...

The peaceful French populace is largely unarmed. They are sheep who have invited the wolves into the flock- many, many wolves. Nothing will save them, and the same thing will happen to Germans, the Belgians, the Dutch etc. Macron's plan here is pretty obvious- he is hoping after a week or two, the rioters run out of steam enough that even the French media continues to ignore the low-grade burning and looting that has been going on for the last 5 years.

Gusty Winds said...

There is a disturbing video of Twitter this morning. A Frenchman who was trying to protect his car from being burned, was attacked, bones broken, and they cut off one of his hands. He's conscious, bleeding, laying by the curb. Other first hand videos of fires, looting, are insane. In one town the rioters even freed animals from the local zoo to roam around.

Yesterday in Madison, WI climate activists had a naked bike parade downtown in from of the capital. Full frontal nudity. Men with penises dangling. Ten year old child participated with her insane parents. Madison Police have announced no charges will be brought for exposure in from of minor.

These are the people who LOVE climate bullshitters like Macron. Can't believe I miss the days with liberals just virtue signaled by putting the French Flag over their FB profile photo.

Cut off somebody's hand, or show your penis to a kid in Waukesha County...you're going to jail. I don't see the difference between Macron and the Leadership in Madison, WI. Madison turned a blind eye to the violence of Summer 2020.

Hold me closer tiny dancer....

"Wide boulevards in Paris were built in Napoleon's time, so that troops in line could fire upon mobs of protesters with better effect."

Actually Paris was mostly reconstructed from 1853 to 1870 during the Second Republic and the reign of Napoleon III.

@gusty winds

That incident is not current and was actually from last year. Widely debunked on social media since last night. Not saying people shouldn't be livid at what's going on, but people need to understand there's no need to embellish incidents when current events are equal justification for opening up with belt-fed weapons on these invaders.

say what you will about Napoleon, it IS pretty cool that he gets credit for things that didn't START until 32 years AFTER his death, and didn't finish until more than 100 years after his death.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haussmann's_renovation_of_Paris
Haussmann's renovation of Paris was a vast public works programme commissioned by Emperor Napoleon III and directed by his prefect of Seine, Georges-Eugène Haussmann, between 1853 and 1870. It included the demolition of medieval neighbourhoods that were deemed overcrowded and unhealthy by officials at the time; the building of wide avenues; new parks and squares; the annexation of the suburbs surrounding Paris; and the construction of new sewers, fountains and aqueducts. Haussmann's work was met with fierce opposition, and he was finally dismissed by Napoleon III in 1870; but work on his projects continued until 1927. The street plan and distinctive appearance of the centre of Paris today are largely the result of Haussmann's renovation.

hint: Napoleon III is NOT THE Napoleon, he was Boney's nephew

The photo used to illustrate the "molestation" of police is staged by the protesters. I don't know enough to comment on the whole situation but the use of a fake photo to make a point is very wrong.

My family has lived in Minneapolis for nearly a century. I find your comment lacking. Lacking what you might ask? Value.

"I'm saying some immigrants from some parts of the world have zero intention of assimilating. That's a problem."

Bullshit. My great grandfather came here from Germany. He was a master maltman, setting up breweries* all around the West and Midwest. Did so well that he retired as a gentleman farmer in a part of Iowa where everyone spoke German. Never really assimilated. Never learned English.

Some piece of shit Black thug took out five young Somali women when he hit their car going about a hundred miles an hour. Four were in college. The fifth on her way, having just graduated from Edina high school.

As someone who has lived in the inner-city of Minneapolis for forty years (Northside represent!) I can tell you, it's not the Somalis I worry about.

It's also worth noting that in the Minneapolis riots of 2020, it was the Progressive Mob that was looting and burning the businesses on Lake Street, many many of which were owned by Somali and West African immigrants. I saw ZERO footage of Somali and West African immigrants looting and burning it all down.

Gordon Pasha said, “Not all fish can swim in the same aquarium"

So true. Funnier still is some fish, left in their own aquarium, couldn't swim their either. Developing world people from developing countries are always developing and never getting anywhere because it has nothing to do with the ground under their feet and everything to do with the type of people that they are. Algerian mob youth could move anywhere and they would always act like Algerian mob youth.

For ages you never saw this except in extreme circumstances because in the countries they came from with iron rulers such behavior got them and their parents buried in mass graves in the desert. They don't do that in France and we don't believe in that in European culture, which is precisely why they act in a way they're certain they can get away with. That perception needs to end, or European civilization will not see the 22nd century.

As a major gun rights supporter and firm believer in the problem solving power of raw violence, it makes me smile that Frenchies who've taken great pleasure in poo-pooing American gun rights and gun owners are now frantically and subconsciously - and in unison - thinking about how they might acquire firearms.

I intend to use this in future arguments online and elsewhere with 'enlightened' Europeans the next time I hear another goddamn word about American weapons ownership. Millions of newly minted subversive white European gun seekers have been created in the last 72 hours.

May they have success in their search for projectile weapons of immense power, and may they remember their folly in giving them up the next time they have the audacity to question me and people like me about our ability to equip small armies.

France is having their Floyd moment, except instead of being named 'George', the exalted victim is 'Nahal', a 'troubled yout' Algerian from a single parent family, driving a high-performance canary yellow Mercedes AMG at 17, with no license, too young for a full license, and yet with a long sheet of traffic infractions and arrests on other charges. 'If I had a son, he would look like Nahal', said George, in a seance.

Unlike American rioters, who only loot and burn, today's French Islamic rioters will be happy to do all this and consider you 'the infidel', and slit your throat for free.

It's going to take the military to put this one down, combined with that peculiar French ruthlessness that the gentility know how to ignore and not ask questions about, once the smoke clears.
