"Big Names Campaigning for Hillary Clinton Underscore Donald Trump’s Isolation."

A NYT headline that could so easily be rewritten pro-Trump.

Damn straight it could. HRC has in fact gotten all the big names, all the stars, and all the mondo cash. I remember when it was Obama who had all the little donors, and that was a point in his favor. Now it's Trump who has them, and ... crickets. But in both cases, who was on the other side? Hillary, of course. She and her husband have amassed more sheer cash post-office than anyone else in history. But, hey, that's OK, because they left the White House "dead broke."

LYNNDH said...

If it means "Movie Stars" or "Entertainers" supporting her, then we do certainly get what we deserve. Most of them are not know for their intelligence or knowledge. My only wish is that they too get what they deserve.

Gahrie said...

One of the few things I like about Trump is that he makes all the right enemies.

Achilles said...

NYT probably doesn't realize we don't feel isolated anymore. Being isolated from a corrupt political elite is a good thing.

traditionalguy said...

What it reveals is fear of group exclusion.

Hillary has the actors and actresses who while not really knowing her, fear the media bosses. Trump has the ones who have know him for 30 years and do not fear anything.

Hillary captures the mega-corporate/mega-wealthy pop star and the leftwing hollywooders. It's notable how many more stay quiet.

AprilApple said...

I think it's fair we remember these "stars" who support total full-on corruption.

That's a bug, not a feature. Celebrities, elites, mystics, social justice adventurists, and journolists, foreign and domestic, are increasingly assessed as first-order causes of catastrophic anthropogenic climate change that threatens progressive wars, immigration reform, mass abortion, extrajudicial trials, class diversity, devaluation of capital and labor, progressive corruption, etc.

A corrupt isolated elite.

“I think it’s an interesting question to ask if the FBI were a more diverse place, would Comey have been facing this insurrection? I don’t think so,” she continued.

"“Women and people of color are going to save this nation basically, like, because we’re immune to the call of this, you know, schizophrenic, you know, psychopath, um, bigot.”

“It’s unprecedented. It’s the weaponization of transparency in a way. It’s one thing, it’s really disturbing,” she posed to Hall. “You expect Russia to tamper with our elections, I guess, but don’t expect the FBI to.”

They are bad people.

That wasn't enough for that pissy little dink.

Wondering how many bridges have been burnt in the Trump "Empire". Hillary has had 24/7 scrutiny for the past (30+) years. *If* Trump loses his scrutiny will reach critical mass!

He'll be out on an island, but hey, the FBI loves him er hates Hillary.

Victory has a thousand fathers, but defeat is an orphan!

Too funny if wikileaks releases all his tax returns ...

Unknown said...

So, this one is out of left field. Apparently the Clinton campaign is into occult blood sex practices. Or at least John Podesta. Like they are worshipping Crowley.

And this is from Wikileaks, not rantings from some nowhere conservative person; it's actual names and places and dates where Podesta attended some sort of "Spirit party."

The rumor I'm not buying (yet) is the pedophile orgies that apparently Hillary and Bill are on video as participating.

But if that's true.... holy cow. I'd love to see Shiloh's remarks about that.

Celebrities bear negative weight with at least half his country. Like with the media, there is a growing element ready to blackball and ridicule anything these posers want to pose with.

I'm pretty ready to discount anything Lena Dunham says or does.

Never forget that somewhere, some Executive Producer and a lot of financial backers had to greenlight "Water World", the spectacular definition of Holywood failure. A campaign is kind of like the bubble that occurs on a movie set; it is all image and narrative, but sometimes the insincerity of the product just leaps off the screen and revolts the audience.

So it is with Hillary. She is the Water World of politics, and with some perspective people will marvel that anyone ever gave her the green light or that she would play in Peoria.

Achilles said...

Hillary has had 24/7 scrutiny for the past (30+) years.

And the only reason she is not in jail for numerous felonies is wealth, power, and idiot supporters willing to destroy the rule of law for her.

Unknown said...

Heh. So here Shiloh is, admitting that her reaction to a video of Hillary and Bill raping little children would be "Keep hope alive"! That Hillary would win, no doubt.

Yeah, that sounds about right. I would assume that if such a video exists (and frankly, I doubt it! Bill? Maybe. Hillary? Probably not.) that most people would abandon Hillary at that point.

But then, most leftists cheer Roman Polanski, so who knows? Celebrity after all apparently trumps morality.

Why Shiloh, hello! I was just looking at the RCP polls for NH. It's Trump 43.4 vs. Clinton 41.8. Why, what a surprise! She was up by 46 to 41.3 on Nov. 1. I can't imagine why she dropped over 4 points since then. Whatever could have happened?

I have the feeling Shiloh could watch a video of Hillary and Bill raping one of her relatives - minor or not - and she'd still shill for Hillary.

She's loyal that way.

When the polls get tight and an indictment looms, it's nice to know that the national media has Hillary's back. She can't possibly lose.

Rock stars, especially, have revealed that under that "Born To Be Wild" horseshit, they're all good little statists who are just fine with the status quo. Why wouldn't they be? They're rich. So now we have Sir Paul McCartney and Sir Elton John entertaining heads of state, Sir Bob Geldof on his yacht flipping the finger to struggling British fisherfolk and Paul ("A man hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest") Simon serenading the DNC. They exhibit perhaps the single most irritating trait of leftist boomers - having their cake and eating it too. They're part of the Establishment while still maintaining the conceit of rebelliousness and nonconformity.

I really liked it when Dylan seemed to be ignoring the Nobel Prize people. I thought "aha, the last true '60's individualist!" Alas, not...

Well, there is this.

"Fast forward to today when as noted earlier, the S&P500 has declined nine consecutive trading days, the first time it has done so since 1980. But more importantly, this is how the market has performed in the past 3 months:

The chart above, which shows that the S&P has fallen some 4.5% over the critical three month period, suggests that based on this indicator, Trump has a roughly 86% chance of winning the presidential election. Alternatively, if only looking at the eight distinct cases in which the market declined in the 3 months heading into the election, there was just one occasion in which the pattern did not hold and the incumbent party was booted out on 7 of those occasions, boosting Trump's implied odds of success even higher, to 87.5%."

It's alright Howard. It's alright. The reason people like you and Shiloh and the others are swarming out of your holes and spazzing is because you sense impending defeat. Win Lose or Draw, you want to get your rocks off spreading nastiness and doing whatever you can to grease the skids for Shelob.

Whatever you say ARM.

You have had a rough day. The worst part for you is win or lose Tuesday you are an empty shell. You don't have any integrity or core values. Your side cares only about power and control. You never actually help people when you have power. You never actually improve anything. You just try to collect more money and power. You are constantly dishonest and eventually there is nothing left.

None, but it will probably show Trump is not as wealthy as he claims, gives no $$$ to charity, has been dealing directly w/the Russian govt. for many years.

He already admitted he hasn't paid federal taxes the past (20) years so that point is moot.

ie there's obviously many things in his returns that will outright embarrass him otherwise he would have already released them.

Hillary has had 24/7 scrutiny for the past (30+) years.

Not from the press she hasn't. They happily accepted whatever lies she peddles and submits stories to her aides for approval.

None, but it will probably show Trump is not as wealthy as he claims, gives no $$$ to charity, has been dealing directly w/the Russian govt. for many years.

So, outside of the first bullet point, he's a Clinton.

He hasn't. There are plenty of other federal taxes. But I doubt you'll follow, so I won't continue.

LO FUCKIN L. Unlike the tens of thousands of emails under subpoena that Hillary destroyed! Right? You have to give Clinton credit for staight out bald faced balls. She is complete disaster, as the "shit show" (Obama's words) that she created in Libya, the huge refugee crisis she she has created... I could go on.

Let me quote her Goldman Sachs talk as to her approach to the Syrian civil war: "Who [sic] do you arm?" That was her question.
