Someday the Supreme Court will bless us with the interpretation that they can get married.

What a glorious day that will be!

Between polyamory, incest, pederasty, and bestiality, you can marry all your underage nieces and their cats.

Necrophilia may take longer.

You know how people saw an Obama resemblance in the face of the actor playing the devil in the Bible television series?

I was not surprised at the comparison... but... what struck me later, is that, it is a rare instance of Obama getting some of the stuff? that had been understood to come along with the job.

The instances of Obama hatred, when compared to instances of Bush hatred, seem not only fewer but the scant few have been boring and dispassionate.

I maybe biased in this comparative endeavor, but it seems to me that the instances of Bush hatred were much more passionate and frequent than the instances of Obama hatred.

Who can forget the Cindy Sheehans and the constant Bush Hitler comparisons.

I don't know about you... but that tells me we still have a long way to go with regards to race relations in this country.

Obama has not received anywhere near the same amount of hatred Bush did... Real equality just keeps eluding us at every turn.

"The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force has recommended against vitamin D and calcium supplementation in healthy postmenopausal women, citing research showing that such supplementation increases the risk of kidney stones and does not protect against fractures in this population."

Obamacare is nihilism.

But the GOP needs to rebrand, and adopt the flags of the Democrats: gay marriage, pro-illegal immigration, the $22 minimum wage, and Obamacare.

It's inevitable.

When you see their pictures side by side, there is no resemblance between Obama and the actor.
But when you just see the small picture of the actor in the cowl, there is.
Curious.

Curious.

You know... you are absolutely right... but I'm at a loss to pin it on anything.

Are you dogsitting for your neighbors or is this dog coming over for play dates with Meade?

Gay marriage gives me the TBLG jeevies.

What?.... Lame?...

Its progress then.

If gay jokes aren't funny, it means we are being perfected.

Love Abby! Too cute.

Apparently the term 'heevy jeevies' is not much in use these days.

I'm not sure... but it taste like hippie talk.

I was watching portions of the Bible last night, and boy, do they take liberties with text, but you know what? That's okay with me, there are some ripping stories in there.

The thing is, the whole time I was thinking, "Hey! My new little nephew is named Daniel, I can use this for pop-up material."

So if I would look through Daniel and pick through the episodes that are cool, maybe just stick with the big ones, avoid the apocrypha, stay with the Protestant-approved material that would be recognizable, and resist getting all text-y about it, try to fit just the good bits of good pop-upable incidents on five or six pages, provide a thoughtful cover, then it could make a pretty good card, I think, a real keepsake.

You know, with a disembodied hand that writes, and lions and people not burning and everything.

But I was going to say, the liberties. They left out the whole bit about the angel appearing to Martha and to Mary beforehand and condensed that to a meeting in an alley where she becomes pregnant, and I must say, the angel comes off as a total Svengali perv who accosts Mary in an alley, privately impregnates her off camera, and does a Jedi mind trick on Joseph to make him think all that is righteous just as the townspeople are ready to assault her for pre-marriage pregnancy.

"LGBT people"... "LGBT Citizens"

I was curious as to how Hillary said it.

The problem with LGBT this and LGBT that is that letters used this way, as a matter of discourse, have historically a malady connotation.

For the sake of shortening the mouthful description at the front end, its probably harming the LGBT cause at the back end.

But, maybe that's just me... I could be wrong about that.

Don't say front end and back end when discussing LGBTQRSTUV . It causes severe laugh cramps.

I'm sure that puppy is adorable in real life, but in photographs she comes across as dim-witted. Something about the eyes. There just isn't as much intelligence shining out of them as you see in other dogs. Zeus included.

"...vitamin D and calcium..."

Now I'm confused. My doctor just the other day told me I need to get some at Wal Mart and take them every day. So who should I belive? Big Brother or the doctor who has treated me and my entire family for the last forty years, and has actual medical training?

Deb, I've read that calcium supplementation contributes to atherosclerosis also and many doctors recommend not taking it. A far better absorbable source of calcium can be obtained in bone broths. When your soup gets gelatinous after cooling, you've got a good source of calcium, glycine and proline there. Great for bones and joints.

I haven't heard about discontinuing use of Vitamin D.

There are expected level in the blood. Ask your doctor to order blood tests ( if it wasn't done at your last physical. ) If your levels aren't low, you probably shouldn't take supplements.

My D was low at my last physical, so I took ~1400 units a day (800 is the usual recommended intake ) of supplements for 3 months, and had it re-checked. It was even lower. Now I'm on prescription 50,000 units a week for 12 weeks, then I get it checked again.

Not really sure why it is so low.
