New Media Meade... on the radio, for the first time.

Listen!

ADDED: The main subject is what Meade is talking about here: "Where does Brian Solomon go to get his reputation back?"

Nice to hear Meade on Vicki's show. It's always interesting to attach a voice to a face; Meade's voice sounds like he looks. It fits him.

Solomon should write a book called "If I did it."

Lots of people get drunk with their employees and then take them home and have consensual sex, right? Well, no, so that is one part of his reputation he can't get back.

I suppose you can not blame the prosecutor for the other part. She would have to turn in her Feminist Warrior Decoder Ring if she did not declare the Alder guilty, regardless of her decision on prosecution.

Perhaps what this really tells us is that bad things happen if you name your job title after a tree.

The more I get to see of Meade, the more I like him.

You've got a good man there, Madame.

Very well done, New Meadia.

You proved that the power of understated reasoning using facts is much greater than the power of exaggerated arguing using broad assertions.

Real men admire you.

I would call him/it "New Meadia"

Yes, what traditionalguy said. Meade has acquired a reputation from his loving wife of being a non-shorts-wearing real man with real stuff in him, and it's nice to hear that that rep is not undeserved.

I can't listen, for lack of time, but I'm very, very happy for him:

Hey, Meade, way to go, dude!!!!

P.S.

If I get everything done, I'll try to tune in later,...

If you do foolish things, and are in the public eye, it's hard to recover your reputation. People expect better when you're on the public dime.

The asst DA should have shut her big yap and not talked about who she did or did not believe, however. What was the point of that? It is fair, though, to let the public see what was discovered, which was covered in the Cap Times article althouse linked to yesterday.

Was that the lamest accusation in the history of Madison?

Or was the lady actually 12 years old, because she sure acted like it.

I listen to Radio Obama. So, does all of America. Who listens to the GOP? Only if Gingrich, Perry, or Cain make it to the nomination, then we will be thankful to the GOP.

Thanks for all the compliments, guys. That was a lot of fun.

Where does Madison go to get it's reputation back?

At about 2:22 Vicki says "...it was almost scratch and sniff video..."?

New Media Meade - the new Larry Flynt

She probably meant "scratch and dent"

Great job Meade.

Why does Madison refer to aldermen as "alders?" I'm pretty certain I know why but I'd love to hear an explanation. Isn't an alder a tree?

They got tired of saying Alderman and Alderlesbian. So they just went with Alder.

Ha! Shhh... careful, CG - you'll get all of us citizen-banned by the Jim Shankmans of Madison.

CG: Are you saying that Alderlesbian doesn't roll off your tongue?

Heh. Good job yesterday Meade. Nice balance to the tornado that is Vicki McKenna. Not unlike Brian Schimming. I used to listen to her when I lived in Madison. She is now on in Milwaukee on 1130AM. That's a lot of radio daily.

Heh, I was going to say exactly that but decided not to go with straight snark...I thought it was funnier.

Indeed snort worthy!
