Watch the live-stream of the RFK Jr. confirmation hearing.

It's about to start, at the top of the hour:

ADDED: "And all these Democrats are opposed to me for partisan issues. They used to be my friends — agreed with me on all the environmental issues that I've been working on for my whole career. Now, they're against me because anything that President Trump does — any decision he makes — has to be lampooned, derided, discredited, marginalized, vilified."

It's going to be interesting, considering his background and depth as a trained an successful litigant. I think he'll do well on the arguments, but still struggle to get the votes. Are the skunks using a secret ballot, or will we know who votes what?

Is RFK Jr. wearing one of his father's neckties?

Wyden goes right to the medicaid hoax!

The New Soviet Democraticals have learned nothing. Which makes them perfect little foot soldiers.

Come on Democrats, show us how moderate Democrats are now far to the right of the party from just 10 years ago.

When you're a Kennedy, you have to watch your back.

I believe he was warned: "Fredo, you're my older brother, and I love you. But don't ever take sides with anyone against the Family again. Ever."

It would be ironic if he were shot down by Republicans for his pro-abortion, anti-high-fructose corn syrup and anti-ultra-processed food stances. All laudable positions opposed by huge vested interests.

That said, he is indeed otherwise an unscientific crank who is unqualified for the position. But he does fit right in with this circus.

Yes, Junior is a perfect example of the Trumpite new dispensation - a via media between the institutionalized R and D options. The uniparty really doesnt know what to do with him.

The issues of vaccines is a bit more nuanced that captured by most comments. There have been vaccines released with measureable mortality, only caught by observing 100,000+ patients after approvals, then leading to their withdrawal. So you have the difficult problem of whether those risks can be balanced against the irrefutable benefits of vaccines for smallpox, polio, measles etc -- which also involve herd immunity so that the risks of reinfection (even for the unvaccinated) are much reduced.

Kennedy is clearly an oppotunistic money-focussed anti-vaxxer now openly shown by his retention of fees from lawsuits which he intends to keep in office, and has NO interest in the potential scientific development. testing and improvement of this class of therapeutics.

He qualifies as a major public health hazard, not a HHS head.

My God, I can't watch it. Whoever this first guy is, his questions are not about evaluating RFK but about get-Trump moments. It's despicable as advise and consent.

In the first week of the Trump admin, LLR-democratical Rich's ("kak") screechimg harridans launched 4 hilarious rupar-ing hoaxes.

Not surprising given Rich's "performance" just yesterday where Rich demonstrated he had no clue how water pumps work!

It really is glorious how the New Soviet Democratical flying monkeys have literally nothing left

Drago said...

Yeah, these latest lies will certainly work where all the other lies failed......not!

Keep it up lefties! Your ignorance only serves to accelerate the party realignment!

I doubt he'll be confirmed, but Trump has Democrats trying to scratch the eyes out of Kennedy. A Kennedy! That's worth it alone.

The Democrats are acting particularly vile this morning. Coincidence? - Agriculture and Pharma lobbies spend combined more than $500,000,000 per year to influence legislation and government policy. Pharma spends more on lobbying than any other industry.

Not going to listen to those shameless people spew stupid rants. I listened to several podcasts and there is compelling evidence concerning the potential for corruption of big pharma and big food. It's all about the money. Just follow it. And the science is never settled. The green warriors are trying the same technique. The only goal is to stifle open debate and hide new science that threatens the money tree.

The RFK Jr. confirmation is the most important of all for America's children after all the damage done go Generation Z and Generation Alpha by big pharma.

Democrats are poised to vote against a pro-choice nominee because they are in the pockets of the drug companies. Wonder if this upsets the feminists?

Caroline Kennedy's attack yesterday on her cousin RFK Jr. was disgusting. I don't think JFK or RJK would approve of the crap America now injects into its babies and children. RFK Jr. is in line with JFK and RFK. Sadly, Caroline is just a bought an paid for Clinton Democrat.

Do Medicaid patients pay premiums?
States have the option to charge premiums and to establish out of pocket spending (cost sharing) requirements for Medicaid enrollees. Out of pocket costs may include copayments, coinsurance, deductibles, and other similar charges.

Nicole Shanahan has committed to funding primary challengers against senators who vote against RFKjr. She mentioned about a dozen by name - Rs and Ds.

McConnell won't run do to health or already being deceased. The bobsie twins are nearly immune due to rank choice voting or the odd makeup of their state. Those who are not up for re-election for four or six years will take their chances. I would say the odds would be in their favor.

If RFF Jr goes down Trump will nominate someone highly qualified that holds the same anti big pharma/ag as Bobby. In the meantime he'll keep appointing acting Secs who will do exactly what Bobby was going to do and what Trump wants. They're not going to stop this train.

Dems - who probably pocket big bucks from big pharma - should be asked about all the lawsuits that occur in the medical industry around faulty science and bad medicines... that end up harming people.

If a government employee isn't doing the will of the elected and/or appointed leader giving a lawful order or policy; then they are not doing their job. It will always be an opinion, and that opinion is the person elected by the people or their appointee. If your only response to that is some people pushing vaccine mandates lose their job; I'm not troubled by it.

The best result would be the Leftist keep up their questioning of a Kennedy, looking like the partisan jackassess they are, and Kennedy fails to be confirmed.

That way, Trump has kept his promise to nominate RFK to this cabinet post in return for his endorsement, and America is saved from this Leftist POS. I don't trust him - he's a Kennedy. And then, Trump can nominate someone better for HHR.

Has anyone asked him about the legal definition of "vaccine"? It was changed in August 21 so that the MRNA shot would qualify as a vaccine instead of a therapeutic. Since "vaccine" makers are protected from being sued, this is a HUGE reduction of potential Pfizer liability.

It has been in the news again of late. Sam Altman has been talking about AI being able to analyze a person's cancer and then custom create a "vaccine" just for that person. Sorry same, that is a therapeutic, not a vaccine. It is not preventing cancer, it is treating an existing cancer.

This shift is worth billions in potential liability protection to pharma. Federal law prohibits suing over faulty "vaccines". All the victim can do is ask for a few drachmas from a govt fund.
