Virginia is Old Confederacy but not Deep South. I can see fall foliage looking due south from my deck. We haven’t had rain since the remnants of Helene and colors are very vivid.
We’re cleaned up from the storms, though I picked a few branches out of the palms today. Deer will get them by morning. New snapdragons and some other Fall flowers in the beds. Hollys are full of berries. Some northern birds showing up. There was a solo Wood Duck last year hung around all winter maybe he’ll be back?

Pretty fall colors.
This is the one part of what sucks about living in Florida. But the snow and the ice, y'all can keep.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! From the Deep South, we enjoy the colors.

I cleared out gutters today. Beautiful day to do it.
I would like to see an explanation of TDS by a mental health professional who doesn't have it, too.
Love the second one, especially. I miss NE in the fall. But not in the winter.
