Beautiful , as always. Expect to see the dark and spooky, leaveless trees shots again this winter.

Once in a while, I interact with the solar, credit card, cable tv, callers who always call from India. Others here probably do the same thing, for fun, Lead 'em on for 20 minutes or so, then put them on hold while "I go get my credit card".
In the midst of an Energy Cost Reduction and Rebate call, had a great idea. Every few minutes, ask the man to please speak louder due to bad hearing. After three requests, he was screaming his sales pitch to me.
Had him on speaker. Mildly entertaining, looking forward to next call

How stupid is Liz Cheney? She endorsed the D in TX senate race. She looks like an embittered former R now. Would have been smart for her to endorse Cruz saying he is an R and she is an R, and keep pressing her case against DJT. That is a Liz own goal.

Well, well well ... what have we here? Turns out Justice Juan Merchan’s corrupt daughter is on Kamala Harris' payroll, according to Federal Election reports which show that the young Merchan is getting hundreds of thousands of dollars in thinly-disguised payoffs laundered through the campaign.

These people are going to have very, very short careers if Trump ever gets the authority that Barack Obama used to kill American citizens without trial.

Dixcus and the far-right media are employing a double standard here. Federal Judge Aileen Cannon, ignored SCOTUS rulings to the contrary when she dismissed the classified documents case against Trump. Trump appointed her to the 2nd District Federal Court in Florida.

On the other hand, Judge Merchan has moved the sentencing of our jury-convicted felonious ex-president to a date after the election. Merchan's daughter had nothing to do with the jury trial.

Warmongering neocon, Dick Cheney, endorses Kamala Harris.

This is further confirmation that the old GOP is dead, and Trump has taken over the Republican Party.

-The Cheneys
-The Bushes
-The McCains
-Paul Ryan
-Mitt Romney

The old GOP establishment have been booted out of MAGA, and remain loyal to their uniparty cohorts on the other side of the aisle, hence why they all support Kamala.

This proves that a Deep State/Uniparty exists, and confirms that Trump/MAGA are the opposition to this entity.

Dick Cheney endorsing Kamala is a MASSIVE positive for Trump. And it’s also hilarious, because before Trump came along, Dick Cheney was arguably the guy they hated most. They don’t event realize what they have become.

This one is easy. Because Starlink became a separate space craft, flight controllers, engineers, and mission managers had to be on console to prepare for departure and return home. They stayed on console for all those hours and for about 2 hours after landing while the vehicle was safed. This was happening on a Friday night. Might as well hold the post mission/daily mission Press Conference right after, instead of going home for a few hours sleep on Saturday to return for a standard 1 or 2 pm Press Conference. It is those engineers on console that create the slides for the Press Conference anyway. Everybody just wants to go home. Trust me, I’ve been there.

Gov. Shapiro warns 'The View' not to underestimate Trump in upcoming debate with Harris

"Gov. Josh Shapiro, D-Pa., cautioned hosts of ABC's "The View" on Friday that former President Trump will prove a worthy opponent for Vice President Kamala Harris in their upcoming presidential debate.

Trump and Harris will face off in Philadelphia for the first time on Tuesday, in a debate moderated by ABC News. While Harris taking on the mantle of the Democratic Party’s standard-bearer has indeed shaken up the race, Shapiro told hosts on Friday that doesn’t change Trump’s skillset, one that even his critics should acknowledge.

"Listen, as much as we want to criticize Donald Trump — he’s a liar, he’s all these things … People know Donald Trump. He is a skilled debater. He is a guy who is willing to say anything at any time just to get through a question, and he’s a showman, he’s been on TV before," Shapiro said. "So don’t underestimate Donald Trump.
"

Gov. Shapiro hews to the party line, calling DJT a liar. Look what comes next, from Alyssa Farah Griggin:

"He added further, "Now, I’ve known Kamala Harris 20 years. She is tough as nails. She’s a prosecutor. She’ll be prepared, as was said before. She’ll be ready to go. But this is going to be a tough debate."

Earlier in the same segment, co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin noted, "Kamala Harris is running a very different campaign than she did when she ran in the 2020 cycle. She’s moving to the center on a number of issues. She’s walked back previously held positions like calling for banning fracking.
"

Kamala Harris: "My values have not changed."

Or maybe he's just playing the odds, with eight years of evidence to go on.

The food fight comes later. The capsule will go to the post processing facility. All the anomalies discovered on orbit that can be assessed will be. Keep in mind, most of the anomalies were on the Service Module, which burned up on its own during entry. Still, lots to review about how safe the capsule actually was for return and how well the heatshield performed, since it was a problem last time. None of that could have been assessed last night, nor really this morning.
The ship had to get the capsule back onshore. A lift was needed to put the capsule on some transport. They'll probably take it back Downey or Huntington Beach for post flight analysis, as it is a Boeing made vehicle. Maybe they'll fly it back to KSC since it was a NASA sanctioned flight. Either way, it won't be fully analyzed until it gets back to an appropriate hanger. That's when all the problems will get listed and the food fight begins.
Boeing will try to down play and dismiss some of the anomalies as not a real issue, such as the audio pinging noise. And some other ones they'll claim they already solved, such as the autonomous flight software that didn't work last mission, wasn't initially installed this mission, but they reinstalled it to get the vehicle home and "see, it worked!" Maybe, or maybe just good enough like it did last mission. Once the list is finalized, the engineering work will begin to resolve all the issues before another flight is allowed (think FAA grounding SpaceX until they could explain why the last booster fell down).
All those issues will need to be resolved before flight rational for any new flight. And let's face it, does anyone, Boeing, NASA, the Astronauts, the public? Does anyone want to see Starliner fly again? Even as a point of pride for Boeing, the next flight will simply be another Crew Flight Test and a reminder that it is the third attempt, and if it goes off perfectly, no one will care and only will remember all the failures. It's not like Boeing is going to make Starliner a commercial space craft, like Dragon.

When asked what specific policies he would advance to make child care more affordable, here is Trump’s response, in full:

“Well, I would do that and we’re sitting down, you know, I was, somebody, we had Sen. Marco Rubio and my daughter Ivanka was so impactful on that issue. It’s a very important issue. But I think when you talk about the kind of numbers that I’m talking about that because the child care is, child care is you couldn’t, you know there’s something you have to have it in this country, you have to have it. But when you talk about those numbers compared to the kind of numbers that I’m talking about by taxing foreign nations at levels that they’re not used to — but they’ll get used to it very quickly. And it’s not going to stop them from doing business with us. But they’ll have a very substantial tax when they send product into our country. Those numbers are so much bigger than any numbers that we’re talking about, including child care, that it’s going to take care — I look forward to having no deficits within a fairly short period of time. Coupled with the reductions that I told you about on waste and fraud and all of the other things that are going on in our country. Because I have to stay with child care, I want to stay with child care but those numbers are small relative to the kind of economic numbers that I’m talking about, including growth. But growth also headed up by what the plan is that I just told you about. We’re going to be taking in trillions of dollars, and as much as child care is talked about as being expensive, it’s relatively speaking not very expensive compared to the kind of numbers we’re going to be taking in. We’re going to make this into an incredible country that can afford to take care of its people, and then we’ll worry about the rest of the world. Let’s help other people. But we’re going to take care of our country first. This is about America first, it’s about ‘Make America Great Again,’ we have to do it because right now we’re a failing nation. So we’ll take care of it.”

But today, according to the Council of Economic Advisers, import duties bring in only around 2 percent of the federal government’s total revenues. And of course, as the CEA reports and Trumps's last tariff venture showed, much higher import levies “spark retaliatory tariffs that reduce U.S. exports and subsequently induce transfers of collected duties to impacted U.S. businesses.” This means that whenever tariffs are increased, American consumer prices rise, bringing inflation.

In my opinion, the question of whether Tenet Media, Pool and Johnson, etc, knew they were being used as Russian agents is less interesting than considering why they spent so much time before this deal came into place saying things the Russian government would want to amplify.

If the indictment says they didn’t know, they probably didn’t know, they just didn’t have to change anything about what they did to be worth ten million dollars to a hostile foreign power.
