So while I was out running some errands today and listening to NPR, they had a segment on with a cognitive scientist. The scientist talked about how as people get older there may be some decline in speed of mental operation as well as difficulty recalling information, but the scientist also said that older brains are more likely to get the right answer. Seems like they want to reassure their listeners that Joe Biden is fit for duty and more than ready to handle Corn Pop.

So Joe Biden, remembering that he was insulted that Hur had asked, was imagining it. Has this level of imagining things started recently? Was he imagining the oil rain that gave him cancer, or was that real? Was he imaging his father working in the coal mines, or was that real? Because if this level of imagining things is new, all that means is that he is currently going downhill even faster than we thought. By Saturday he could imagine that we are under nuclear attack. I'm not sure that's better than saying he's been slowly declining.

The problem with this argument is that Hur said that was the only reason for not pursuing the case given that all the elements of the crime were met.
Was Hur saying that Biden was not competent to understand the proceedings against him and to assist counsel? Probably not. He was saying that jurors will like him and cut him a break. Really? Is Biden well-meaning and sympathetic? Not in the slightest.
Like Comey's pronouncement of Hillary, Hur completely made up a standard that is in no way used by real prosecutors. Democrats should be grateful of Hur's nonlegal analysis.

I almost missed this yesterday, that Huma is apparently dating the son of George Soros. I don’t know which should be a bigger concern - that the Soros family is getting tight with the Muslim Brotherhood, or with the Clintons.
Like I keep saying, there's no way that they'll let Biden debate Trump or do any interviews where he will be asked anything other than softball questions.
It's one thing to not remember things that happened years ago, but it's another thing to misremember important things that happened recently.
