Anybody else in Wisconsin get a shock from their insurance bill this month? Supposedly, I live in a high-risk area for reckless driving (I suppose they mean I live near Milwaukee City) and the Wisconsin Commissioner of Insurance recently has decreed that all in the area must pay more. My driving record doesn't matter; it's being near Milwaukee City and the crazy drivers there whom the police ignore (don't get me started on that) that is causing the increase. And the increase is huge. But I can't find a story about it. Anybody?
I can't hate what this administration is doing to America any more than I do with this idiots statement. They are traitors and deserve to be treated as such.

Watched a news report this morning where a reporter was talking to Mexican border officials. The officials reported they were releasing illegals in blocks of a few hundred upon a signal from border patrol officials on the US side. There a is term for this. It escapes me at the moment. Someone help me here.
Isn't passing a law to allow a lawsuit after discussing with E. Jeane Carroll the possibility of suing Trump, as a way of getting around time limitations on such suits, specifically to get Trump, a bill of attainder?
A local rental company (North Bend), R-R Rentals, has been bought out by a national chain rental company, Sunbelt. I rented a trencher from R-R about a month ago, nice people. I have nothing against Sunbelt, but it's sad to see a local company disappear.
The North Bend location is 15-minutes vs 31-minutes for its Redmond location. Much closer.

I love Spring.
Here, too.
To all the ladies, one day a baby. Happy Mothers' Day. The hardest job you'll ever love.
I wish I could post a clip of Matt’s and Walter this weeks podcast.
They took one of Borges short stories about an infinite library, The Library of Babel and discussed how relevant it is to today.
I’m a subscriber but hopefully a clip will appear on YouTube at some point.
Why not rain? I am reliably informed a small percentage of our lives have rainfall.
I hope you are having a good Mothers day, Althouse.
"Well, unfortunately, we can't track down the informant,"
Saw the movie "Sisu." Think Finish Rambo.
It's no "Frankenstein, Part II" but it appeals to your lizard brain.

Rain? What's that? It's 90F today in Pugetopolis. Possible thunderstorms Monday afternoon.

Spring flowering trees, always highly anticipated, never disappoint.
Our redbuds bloomed 6 weeks ago. Now if someone could just shorten our summer.
The trees in the bottom photo look like ballerinas in ruffled tutus.
Funny thing- autocorrect changed it to Titus!
Our wild apple trees are blooming- they smell like Angels have come down for a visit.
