The Russians are retreating from Bakhmut. The Wagner Group is going to hand over the battle to the Chechen forces on May 10. Wagner Group has been doing the fighting in Bakhmut. This is victory in Bakhmut for Ukraine - if the handover happens.

Another fake Indian, excuse me, fake Native American, excuse me, fake Indigenous Person of Color, known as pretendians, has been found, this one at the University of Wisconsin. Per NPPR, the number of people who identify as Native American on the U.S. Census has soared in recent years by 86% from 2010 to 2020. There must be plenty wampum in identifying as an Indian, excuse me, Native American, excuse me, Indigenous Person of Color. No comment from Elizabeth Warren.

Former President Trump said recently that he could end the Ukraine war in one day.
Hmmm.....As someone who wanted the wall and believes we need a wall on the Southern border, I seem to recall that while there was a Republican controlled house, senate, and president, we got no wall.
I can't be the only R/C to notice this.
I think it will end up being a mistake for Trump to have said what he said.

noticed they never correct the record now? … which makes me think, despite alternative media best efforts, that is all rigged and controlled.

I see that Hillary Clinton is calling for an “enforceable code of ethics” for the US Supreme Court. I mean Hillary Clinton — one of the least ethical, most corrupt politicians since Boss Tweed and right up there with the “Big Guy” himself, Hunter Biden’s daddy.

I mean, can she even spell “ethics” the same way twice, let alone correctly either time?

"The left really appreciates Jordan Neely now that he’s dead. They didn’t give two Fs about him when he was alive, so they do not deserve to be listened to. Al Sharpton says if you are not at risk, do nothing. And then Joy Reid says if you don’t do something, you should be charged. Again, they do not deserve to be listened to. Hochul said, You know, that could be you. Assuming that we, society, would identify with an unhinged, violent felon threatening people who’ve attacked women and children. That could be you. No, no, no. When you say that could be you, Governor, you should be talking about the bystanders who are now the target of losers like you, Hochul. That could be you. You could be the bystander on the train who decided to share the risk and do something to save somebody else. And you could be the target. That could be you. That’s the story, you moron. This is how it works, right? The left hamstrings the police and it creates a vacuum where security used to be......"

Don Surber says it well:

“Democrats turned subways into hell and now give good citizens the choice between being the victim of a lunatic who kills them or a lunatic justice system that punishes anyone who stands up to the psychos.

WHEN was there a 'republican controlled senate'?
let me know; will you? WHEN was the last time there were 60+ republican senators?

Saw Warren Buffett and Charlie (King Charles) Munger today. Both in their 90s. They took questions for 5 hours.

Joe Biden hasn’t had a press conference in over 170 days because he can’t handle it.

Now think back on Trumps foreign policies while he was president. What do you think?

To me the solution is clear: Mandatory testing. Yt Ppl should be identified by a positive test for White DNA.

I saw that Big Mike. We have an enforceable code of ethics for civil servants and handling of classified data. Hillary Clinton violated both, flagrantly, and was never held accountable, except by the American people that refused to give her a promotion.

@TaeJohnDo, you are writing about Kay LeClaire, who picked up a $5000 residency with UW-Mad as another Fauxahontas. Turns out that university administrators in Madison are every bit as gullible as administrators working for Harvard. So it’s not just something in Madison’s water.

But LeClaire was outed last December or January and her residency was not renewed. Interesting footnote: she donated a jingle dress — a dress in the style of the plains tribes, but with thin metal cones sewn on that jingle as the wearer dances at powwows — which she claimed to have made herself. But she bought it from Etsy.

Meanwhile there’s another Fauxahontas, this time an associate professor at Berkeley named Elizabeth Hoover has been forced to admit that she’s not really of Mohawk and Mi'kmaq Mi'kmaq descent after all. Harvard fooled! Berkeley fooled! UW-Madison is at least in good company.

Here’s a modest proposal. Limit the Native American racial preference to individuals who are enrolled with a recognized tribe. My understanding is that the tribes do a good job of betting their membership rolls, limiting the spread of fakes.

Or better yet, maybe it’s time to do away with affirmative action entirely, when it’s that easy to cheat.

Friday night, in an interview on MSNBC, Joe Biden said that his son, Hunter, under investigation for various crimes, "has done nothing wrong."
Wrong for Slow Joe to say this, of course, since his JD is investigating Hunter Biden.
But it started me thinking how much of a disaster it would be for the Biden clan if Hunter was to be convicted of a felony, even if he ended up doing no jail time.
Probable disbarment, probable restrictions on his ability to act as a fiduciary or the officer of a corporation.
Am I wrong or is Hunter the only Biden who is a potential money maker? After he is out of office, it's unlikely Joe will be able to perform well doing the politician turned paid speech giver grift. He's just too old.
The New Yorker once published a longish expose on the Biden family. Seem like a bunch four flushers, if you ask me.

Nonsense and bullshit. New York's subways are safe, much safer than they were 30 and 40 years ago.

There have been upticks in crime in NYC in recent years, but NYC's overall crime rate is lower than it was 20 and 30 and 40 years ago and it is among the safest large cities in the United States.

That's to limit how many people get a slice of the casino money pie. Here in California, all of the "Indians" are a mixture of Hispanic and Indian heritage, speak Spanish and have Hispanic names, just like 90% of the Hispanics in California. The only difference is the "Indians" get reservations and casinos.

IOW nothing to see here, move along, folks.
Here are the facts:

https://nypost.com/2022/10/11/nyc-subway-murders-jump-to-highest-levels-in-25-years-data/

"Killings in the New York City subway system since 2020 have skyrocketed to the highest annual levels in 25 years, even amid plummeting ridership numbers, as the city grapples with an overall spike in random violence, NYPD data show.

Since 1997, the earliest data The Post was able to access, there had never been more than five subway murders in a single year until the COVID-19 pandemic struck in 2020 and brought that number up to six for the first time in decades.

The next year, murders shot up to eight. So far in 2022, there have already been seven killings.

Together with 2020’s toll, that’s 21 slayings — which is more murders than the transit system saw between 2008 and 2019 combined."

------------

So, subway murders are way up, and---everyone but Cook seems to know this---subway riders are being assaulted, injured and even killed by the homeless, the crazies and the threatening thugs.

Cook's cool with that.

It bears reminding that the Supreme Court is a separate and independent branch of our national government.

Only the vague standard of "good behavior" places limits on the justices' conduct.

It's very doubtful Congress can apply additional ethical standards on the Court----except via a Constitutional Amendment requiring state ratification.

Good luck with passing that.

I imagine that the Biden myth is that the WASP's cruelly kept them down because they were Irish Catholics, when the truth is the Bidens were social climbers, trying to parlay their partial control of roofing asphalt in the 1920s and 1930s in the NE into generations of wealth and political influence.
