Something occurred to me. Obama had Messina/Axelrod. Bush had Rove. Trump had Bannon. So who ran the Biden campaign wherein their candidate got the “most votes ever” and why aren’t they doing victory laps on TV or at conferences?

They gave up on that strategy. The poultry farmers should do the same. Let the birds live and recover and build immunity. Avian flu is too communicable from the wild birds and trying to do a zero-flu strategy is an obvious failure.; 1/18/23, 7:10 PM

Josephbleau said...: People from all over the world are coming to the US and claiming asylum. This means that they are in deep danger of being killed or injured by violence. If this is so then the countries they live in are negligent, the violence is done by the government in many countries like Venezuela and Cuba, or by criminals as in Mexico, but the government enables it by negligence.

So the US should declare any country that is the source of, say 100,000 asylum seekers a negligent violator of rights and stop all foreign aid and transportation links, to encourage them to help their own people. These countries should not be allowed to accept new immigrants because it would be dangerous.

Some would say that the US government treats 100,000 people violently, well, then prohibit the US from having any more immigrants. And don’t let other nations give the US aid.; 1/18/23, 8:46 PM

The main foreign policy weakness of democracies with a lot of immigration is that people leave their countries but keep their blood feuds, like Vindman, for example, or Freeland, whose grandfather was a Nazi, and whom she defends. I'm sure he'd love to use slave labor like his papa did, but he's constrained from doing that, at least for now.
