What if twitter didn't throttle conservative tweets, they throttled violent and hateful tweets, which disproportionately came from conservatives.
Maybe you don't agree with that premise. But it would produce the same effect.
One good way to sort this out is to see if Musk's shadow bans -- you have free speech not but reach, I think his quote was --produce the same effect. And/or whether he is intervening to adjust the rules to maintain the reach of conservatives.

I've noticed the past few years that those few honest liberals in media aren't just criticizing the left, they are becoming almost crusaders against the left.
I wonder if it's related to the phenomenon where there are few things in life more frustrating then seeing a position you support argued badly. They are sick of watching what the mainstream left is doing to their preferred ideology.

You'd have to be intentionally ignorant and/or dishonest to make this statement as there are thousands and thousands of violent and hateful leftist tweets STILL on Twitter.

Define 'class'. I tend to think of class in economic terms, the haves and have nots, but I don't think that is what the dividing line is or will be. Too much evidence to the contrary in voting patterns. Age demographics (indoctrination) + reliance on government (handouts and favorable regulation) seems to be a stronger factor to me.

One good way to confirm this - to take a page from your book - would be to ask which non-conservative tweeters, or whatever they're called, are complaining of limited reach or effective banning.

I follow Dr. Judith Curry’s blog on climate science. She used to be the head of the earth sciences department at Georgia Tech but got tired of faculty climate politics and left to form her own consulting firm. Anyway, she is a highly credentialed, serious scientist with views about the climate impact of anthropogenic CO2 that are somewhat different than the consensus. Today she wrote that she had just found out she she’d been shadow-banned on Twitter. Now she’s not a Steven Bannon propagandist. She just thinks that equilibrium climate sensitivity is more likely to be near the bottom end of the range accepted by the IPCC. And this is what the nerfs at Twitter were censoring.
Thank heavens Musk is cleaning house.
