The fish tots from the head and Democrats are scum. It gives me no pleasure to say that, it’s a terrible thing.

When I was a kid, if there was something my mom didn't want me to get into, she'd put it on the highest shelf.
Now, if there's something you don't want me to be able to reach, put it on the floor.

The Ukrainians have started their counter-offensive in the Kherson region which is directly above the Crimea. Kherson area is divided from east to west by the Dnipro River which flows east to west through it. The Ukrainians have broken the bridges across the Dnipro in Kherson in an effort to trap the part of the Russian army which is on the north side of the Dnipro in Kherson area. The Russian Army needs the bridges for resupply from the Crimea and doesn't have them and also the temporary pontoon bridges have been bombed.
But this is all we know. The Ukrainians are observing a "social media silence." The government has asked their people not to post anything about where their Forces are or what they is doing. Such postings up till now have been one of the main ways to look in a vivid way at what's going on. But social media posts of videos can be geolocated and this might expose the Ukrainian Forces to bombing or whatever. So no tweets or Telegrams. A war with no tweets makes no sound around the world so does it really happen? Yes, but it is different. We have to wait for news - incredible!

When Trump took the documents he was still the president. Otherwise he would not have been able to take them.

Can Trump be prosecuted for a presidential act?

The DOJ is acting like a lawless political arm of the Biden (or whoever is in charge) White House.

I am curious about the enthusiasm for drag queen story time. Men are getting themselves up as unflattering caricatures of women, and Liberals seem to be OK with it. But how is that different from men dressing up as unflattering caricatures of Black people, as in Minstrel shows? Nobody seems to be OK with that these days, but to caricature and ridicule women seems to be fine with the wokerati. I'm perplexed.

Andy McCarthy in the NY Post:

The FBI concluded that Trump persisted in storing top-secret intelligence at Mar-a-Lago. While some were likely to be in the boxes, other documents were apt to be found in his office space, among other places he frequented.

That is just what the August 8 search uncovered. As prosecutors point out, in addition to finding classified documents in Trump’s office, the FBI found 76 classified documents in storage room boxes — more than twice as many as Trump’s representatives produced on June 3 when they claimed there was nothing more to be found at the resort.

This is a serious obstruction case that appears as if it would not be difficult to prove. The Justice Department is under immense pressure from the Democratic base to indict Trump, and the jury pool in Washington, DC, where the government would file any indictment, is intensely anti-Trump. It is thus hard to imagine that Attorney General Merrick Garland will decide against filing charges.

The best hope Trump has of avoiding an indictment is that Democrats would rather run against a wounded Trump in 2024 than indict him in 2022.

[Andrew C. McCarthy] served as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York. A Republican, he led the 1995 terrorism prosecution against Sheikh Omar Abdel-Rahman ["The Blind Sheikh"] and eleven others

"If this is a staged photo it may have given the feds a minor news cycle win, but it didn’t help FBI/DOJ credibility. It makes them seem like they are playing to the media, but in fact they played into Trump’s argument that the FBI/DOJ can’t be trusted.”"

https://www.wunderground.com/cat6/Which-Kills-More-People-Extreme-Heat-or-Extreme-Cold

Lol, NOAA says heat kills more people and will soon kill many more, and the CDC says that cold kills twice as many as heat, which suggests that deaths due to heat and cold will moderate, should temps climb.. Looks like the political types who infiltrated NOAA have some work to do over at the CDC, which goes by death certificates, where NOAA goes by news stories.

Anyway, Europe will provide a good testing ground on the cold side of the ledger for whatever hypothesis you favor. Maybe the US too, as the looting of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve has to end, after the mid-terms, and we will see what happens to the price of heating oil and gasoline, a double whammy coming for the paycheck to paycheck crowd.

If the warmies are right, temp related deaths should drop!
