I've picked out 6 TikTok selections for you this evening. Let me know what you like best.

1. Speed dating.

2. He feels like he's the yellow moon emoji.

3. A list of "cool things you can say."

4. Hey, what are you eating?

5. Watch this one if you want to be persuaded to do 60 squats a day.

6. Watch this one if you care about Harry Nilsson.

"Nilsson Schmilsson" was one of the must play albums in high school. Still holds up well on a quick listen. Somehow the unforgettable songs are "Coconut" and "Without You." I just re-discovered "Let the Good Times Roll." Something in common with Randy Newman, and I think they admired each other's work.

Number 6, this is an example of meta-parody. Tenn. Ernie Ford made a parody of an old song, and Nielson made a parody of the parody.

Oblio and Arrow was great, but the male Female conflict in Why Don't you come on, into my kitchen, because you know its going to be raining outdoors echos the old baby its cold outside mid 50's take.

Nilsson was bait enough for me to look at that one. Did not know of this work, or the daughter.

This is why I keep coming here.

I'm not quite 70 yet, but I started feeling my muscles atrophy. After 4 months of squats (60 every other day), pushups, pullups, and various other exercises I feel stronger, my balance is improved, and, paradoxically I have fewer muscle and joint pains. It's been a revelation.

That guy is over 70?! I am persuaded.

#4. Well done.

Squats are one of the best exercises you can do- you don't even have to use weight other than your body to get great benefit from them.

#4 had a playful authenticity about it that I enjoyed. The 70 year old is doing lots of other healthy exercises and eating choices in addition to the squats to have that impressive physique...good for him!

Three winners!
- I am 72 and am totally persuaded to get back to doing squats! That beautiful man is his own best advertisement.
- The speed dating clip was excellent. A miniature rom com.
- What are you eating was so sadly true.

Nilsson ruined the song. Why bother singing it like that?

Is it right to go that low for squats? I've seen conflicting advice.

For me I think the question is whether it's possible to go that low for squats. And if I go that low, can I stand up again.

According the the legendary trainer, Mark Rippetoe, you can't go too low.

I'm Prety sure that most of the people on this platform are damaged in some way or the other.

I can go that low (and I'm 71). I've done 10 in succession and a normal speed and without struggling. Just wondering if I shouldn't be doing that for some reason. Haven't tried to do more than 10, but could.
