A makeup company uses TikTok to intrude into the Amber Heard/Johnny Depp trial.

@milanicosmetics You asked us… let the record show that our Correcting Kit launched in 2017!👀 #milanicosmetics ♬ International Super Spy - dylan
Here's the NY Post article, "Milani sets record straight on Amber Heard’s Johnny Depp bruises claims":
During opening statements this week, Heard’s attorney claimed that the “Aquaman” actress carried Milani Conceal + Perfect All-in-One Correcting Kit with her throughout her “entire relationship with Johnny Depp” — and suggested she’d used the makeup to cover injuries from Depp’s alleged physical abuse during their relationship.
We may never know if Depp hit Heard in those years, 2014 to 2016, but we do know that the Conceal + Perfect All-in-One Correcting Kit did not hit the market until December 2017.

That's gonna leave a mark.

So, was it a paid product placement?

And what about that can of Bud Light the judge always has sitting there on his bench? Did he get paid for that?

It hit me at “hit the market.”

My impression is the internet is overwhelmingly in JD’s corner.

This is interesting to me, because I recognize Milani as a bottom-of-the-barrel cosmetic brand equivalent to 'Wet and Wild' (yes, that's real), carried at drugstores and big boxes. This is the stuff you go for if you can't afford Revlon or L'Oreal, or if you're a cheapskate (like me).

What makeup did Himbo use to cover the injuries inflicted by Bimbo?

I note the awkward avoidance of the "second mention" of "Heard": "Heard’s attorney claimed that the 'Aquaman' actress carried Milani Conceal + Perfect All-in-One Correcting Kit..."

If you don't know Heard acted in "Aquaman," you might think Heard's attorney was talking about someone other than Heard. It seems to give more information — Heard was in "Aquaman" — but if you don't already have that information, you can't understand what's being said. So the information is confusing and also completely irrelevant. It doesn't matter to the trial and the alleged domestic violence that Heard was in that particular movie. Indeed, it's a random "fun" factoid that makes it seem as though they aren't taking domestic violence — and lying in court — seriously.

Giant screwup by the lawyer.

Master the facts.

Heard might lose the case on this point.

Or they would rather be associated with an actress from an upcoming movie than with a liar or domestic assault.

Milani....domestic violence
Milani...perjury
Milani...upcoming Aquaman movie

Which sounds better for a consumer product?

It's pretty standard with actors for second mentions to be of a role. Says something about Heard that the second mention is a flop no one remembers anything about.

Don't be so quick to jump to conclusions. I have it on good authority that nothing is better to cover up the collateral damage of a gunshot wound that Revlon's liquid foundation.

If the makeup is shit, you must acquit! Or something else that makes more sense and rhymes.

A good trial lawyer would recover: "Milani developed the Concealer in response to my client's complaints about insufficient bruise coverage," and make a motion to add Milani as a defendant on the possible intellectual property rights in Conceal/Perfect.

Hollywood stars need someone to stand behind them and whisper repeatedly in their ears: "Remember that you aren't hot shit" (or maybe "You are worth about as much as hot shit" -- I'm losing my command of idiomatic English). Whatever the right expression is, I would be willing to take on the task.

If the girl uses makeup to conceal a bruise, is she not an accessory after the fact in concealing evidence of a crime?

Heard was charged with abusing her gal in an airport.
It's been pretty well concealed.
