Piers Morgan gently rebuffs Sinead O'Connor (whose 17-year-old son died in January).

Link.

Why would the looney Irish bitch take this public?

Why is she obsessed with the location of anyone's balls?

Piers comes off looking like the good guy here.

Don't dead name her. It's rude.

Her name is Shuhada Sadaqat since her conversion to Islam.

b) I actually fancy you, not Meghan. Think it's the GI Jane hair thing.

how is this rebuff? or is that re-buff as in buff again?

Yet again Althouse forgets the deeply tag.

Sloppy work.

I don’t pay attention too much to Twitter or Piers.
That was a very cool response to quite the Twit from Sinead!!

Does he seem different, somehow? More balanced? Less of an asshole?
(I wouldn’t know- I’m not a proctologist!!) Lord, I love that saying!

Pretty graceful, Piers. You turned the sneer back very gently.

just another case of "progressives" showing who they really are

Here’s where I stop and think that just maybe, or at least sometimes, Piers Morgan is a better human being than I had vaguely assumed. That was funny, and kind.

I pulled up a search to see what she looks now.. it must be sad, having been pretty.
Skinhead O'Connor USED TO BE (at least) kinda pretty.. Now she's not.. Sad

gilbar has the great fortune of having NEVER been pretty, in any way shape or form;
so when he looks into a mirror, he doesn't mind what he sees; he's used to it

Sinead's shoehorning Meghan Markle into the discussion - especially by fabricating some sexual interest on Piers' part - was extremely lame. But not really surprising from that mentally ill twit.

Speaking of mentally ill flailing, I see that Sinead is a Muslim now. God, that was almost the predictable next step in her disordered existence, wasn't it.

I stopped paying attention to Sinead O'Connor ever since her Saturday Night Live performance.

He doesn't even confirm that he wants her for a TV show, breakfast or not, or for anything else. Kerrie Hutton works for a newspaper, but I gather NewsUK launched a new TV channel last September, and Piers was the first host to be signed up. Kerrie was EA to Piers himself years ago.

Is that her way of accusing Morgan of having a ghoulish interest in interviewing her about her dead son?

I do not see why this is relevant to anyone, in any situation, at any time. It (Twitter) seems to provide a morbid fascination with other people's lives.

I enjoy mocking Streisand and Cher as much as the next guy, but I draw back from Britney and Sinead. There's idiocy and there's mental illness. I wish Sinead well. Bare ruined choirs where late the sweet birds sang.

If criticizing a woman means you want to sleep with her, Hillary Clinton just became the hottest woman on the planet. Go ahead, just try to get rid of that image.

Anyone whose child committed suicide has my sympathy. Good on Piers.

It’s a matter of degrees. From flaming a-hole to garden variety a-hole, maybe?

I dunno who to root against. The bald, mentally ill Orish chick, or the pompous loudmouthed English twit.

Its as if babs striesand and Sean Hannity got into a twitter feud.

Once folks like this exchanged letters published by their estates.

They need to replace the crones on the view with:

Megan McCain
Megan Markle
Bab Striesand
Senied O'Connor.

So did most other people.

It's really sad, those who base their careers on shock effect and notoriety always seem to keep thinking it's working long after it stops.

Frankly.......neither Sinead or Meghan flip my switch.

Charm is a one-way street these days.

Didn't used to.

'...but I draw back from Britney and Sinead.'

They spent their lives trying to make themselves famous.

And they are rich enough to have managers and 'people' to monitor their communications.

Sorry, they deserve to be mocked.

This would have been better as a DM IMO. There is no need for people to see this.

You sure that wasn’t Jan Hooks, the funniest woman to ever work on SNL?

Edit:
I referred to Twitter earlier, though, in this case the venue is Instagram.

I do not see why this is relevant to anyone, in any situation, at any time. It (Twitter) seems to enable a morbid fascination with other people's lives.

Cheap Seats at The Onion, 50 Shades of Elementary My Dear Woody, A Gay Parley, or Social Progress... Throw another baby on the barbie, add a nice Chianti, and serve with fava beans.

The whole point was for people to see this, on both their parts. Frankly my response would not have been as civil.

Crass for clicks. Are polite declines passé?

Morgan would have done better to not reply at all, but he was, at least, not nasty about it- a credit where it is due.

Balls deep? He'll be knee deep minimum with either of those two.

Just to be safe, bring along a grappling hook and sturdy rope.

Harry, Meghan, Pierce, Sinead? How are any of these people still famous?

‘In up to your nuts’ seems such an English expression…

Tina- I was thinking the same thing about politics.
Arrogance is now a virtue.

Look up photos of guitarist Steve Cooney, before and after his marriage to Sinead O'Connor.

O'Connor is playing a trope that's old, but maybe making a comeback.

When a schoolboy is mean to a girl, that means he likes her. So when Morgan criticizes Markle, O'Connor accuses Morgan of wanting to fuck Markle. I've seen the same accusation, mostly by white-knight incels, (who really do want to fuck AOC) defend any criticism of her by claiming that the true reason for the criticism, isn't whatever inane thing AOC has said, but rather, that they just want to fuck her, know they never will and are lashing out.

Some of it's projection and some of it's juvenile teasing.
