I don't follow Sean Ono Lennon regularly. But every time a blogger calls him back to my attention, he has written something thought-provoking and good-natured. Wish there were more like him.

If you age John Lennon, like in that Yesterday movie, you do kind of get Ozzy Osbourne.
He seems to have grown up far more normal than one might have expected.
Sean should have said “My famous half-brother had some top 10 hits in the mid-1980’s…” and then walked away.
I have been shaving my head for quite a few years since I started losing my hair.
A few years ago my wife and I were at a Special Olympics bocci competition our son was competing in when one of his team mates came up to me and she said you look just like a super hero. I was just about to say thank you when she said Lex Luther. My wife and I laughed so hard. It still cracks us up.
For being born to wealth and privilege, from what I've read he seems to be a normal guy.

The guy who sells me Christmas trees has a Sean Lennon story, and I get him to talk about it again every year, Sean comes out looking like a nice decent guy dealing with his 'fame' and how people interact with him. I would tell it, but it's not my story. My story is the Christmas tree guy, but it requires my impression of a Canadian accent, but this story checks out, now, somewhat.
My immediate reaction was, "you're famous, dude, I remember your song!
And then I discovered that I did not, in fact, remember his song, it was Julian's song.
