I watch TikTok so you don't have to. Here are my 5 selections of the day.

1. A young woman demonstrates, in quick succession, the types of singers you find in jazz school.

2. Sometimes the murderous emu is sweet.

3. When you visit and your dad tries to keep you from leaving.

4. Setting the Chris Rock/Will Smith incident to music.

5. Metallica's James Hetfield sits for an interview with a cute kid.

Why does someone have an emu in captivity? You deserve what you get, crazy lady.

Chris Rock to music thing was pretty meh.

It's a farm... aren't they raised for meat?

Just don't turn your back on them, apparently.

I loved that video. Off topic, but Ann hope you get to see the Northern Lights tonight.

Have to admit I jumped a little the first time the emu entered the frame.

Damn, that was my mother every time I went to leave. She;s gone 13 years now, but watching that video I could hear her voice.

Emu was good. As for the music thing, should have muted the original video and played music to a silent film.

@Virgil Hilts

I saw that, but I won't be able to see past the 100% cloud cover we're having all night.

If you are going to watch them so that we don't have to then there's no need to post the links.

So... this woman has an emu with "murderous tendencies," named Karen. I am grinning.

That IS ridiculous!
If she doesn't post the links, how do we know she Watched
If she doesn't give us a summary, how do we know she watched?
Like General CF Smith, i don't want any Shirkers here! She has a Duty; let her DO It!

Now now. So we don't HAVE to. Our host describes the videos and links to them so that, if we WANT to, we can check them out. I quite enjoyed the jazz singer and the murderous emu.

Idk, Jamie.
I am heartily sick of the karen karma.
Glad it’s all online- so far.

I wouldn’t watch tiktoks.
I’m grateful to view your picks, though. I liked them all.

Waited for Hetfield behind stage right vomitory curtain before a Metallica arena show. Noticed a large yellow bucket and heavy mop left conspicuously nearby. Thought I should move it, thinking it was unseemly and, knowing him, that he might even pick it up and start mopping. And, damn, if he did just walk up, see the mop and bucket, and start mopping immediately before going on stage.

So, yes, you could tell he did it as a jocular tension killer before taking the stage.

I don't watch TikTok, but please don't feel like you have to

I appreciate the TikTok links. When I try to watch it myself I get sucked into 30 minutes of stupid dances and pets and recipes and etc. I don't really know how to watch it in a thoughtful way, so I appreciate he occasional and limited links to specific TikTok's.

Is this a Liberty Mutual commercial?

I’d say sign in then look at the videos scrolling away quickly when you’re not interested. It’s a recipe? Gone! Kids dancing? Gone. Be instantly reactive. When you like something enough to want to watch through, it will learn and give you more of that. Click on the top sidebar icon and check out that person’s other work. You can click to follow them. Let the machine learn your preferences.
