Facebook, a.k.a. Metaverse, confesses that its "fact checks" are in reality only opinions and do not necessarily reflect the real world. This is in response to John Stossel's lawsuit against them.
This damns all so called "fact checkers" as being just opinion writers against things they don't want you to know about.
Someone may have already commented on this, but has anybody else noticed this week’s stunning character contrast between Bob Dole’s selfless service to his country and Hillary Clinton’s selfish service to herself through her MasterClass presentation?
Mike of S: I think that if you look sideways at the weasel words and squint, “Meta” is saying that the headlines or “labels” it used (like, I guess “independent fact checkers found . . .”) were opinions of Meta, which was not liable for the (potentially factual) things said by the fact checkers themselves. So you see, it’s all on the up & up.

454PM. No Smollett verdict yet.
I predict complete exoneration on all counts.
It's Chicago after all.

This is worse than the Smollett hoax.

Surprised nobody mentioned Borges in the library and classification thread.
