I mean...we've had years, really decades of politicians speaking in Blabber, and with each successive administration, it gets more stupid and obvious to everyone except the crew at WaPo, NYT, The View, and MSNBC. (CNN is a cartoon network at this point). From Bush 1, to Clinton, to Bush 2, then to Obama- where the bullshit level was raised to new heights, and from there it was only a slight run to Trump, which brings us to where we are now.

Surely what is shown on this video (which is funny, by the way) is an approximation of daily events with Joe, Kamala, Jen Psaki, Antony Blinken, Ned Price, and all of their panels of experts?

All it would take would be a couple nights of seeing the comet coming closer without moving across the sky. DiCaprio's character also seemed to be typical of scientists who can't communicate their ideas to people and blame them for their fault. What you don't see his how even the specialists get things wrong, and how there was no authoritative "Science" when it came to COVID and no clear prescription from "Science" for climate change.

I suspect though that the real life COVID situation wasn't that so much that the scientists couldn't "dumb down" their language so much as that they had no clue how to handle the situation.
