After so many lovely sunrises just over the water, these with more trees are quite pleasing.
Glad you have them, and that you don't appreciate nor support by reposting the comments of those who don't like them ... they can, and should, look elsewhere.
Almost all have been beautiful, and the world needs more beauty.
The bottom figure looks like it is from the Gulf Coast, maybe along Mobile Bay. I spent a week in Fairhope, AL earlier this year and that could have been the right outside our Airbnb. The top photo looks so inviting. That's a lovely, soft dirt trail. It won't be long until there are cool mornings up there, I would guess. I've been in a walking boot for almost four weeks and I can't wait to get back out on the trails/sidewalks again.
It seems like Twitter has not banned Taliban spokespeople for life -- or even temporarily. To be fair, the Taliban isn't promoting Ivermectin, or saying "Stop the Steal", or even misgendering anybody, so Twitter is living up to its principles.
Dane County (Madison) is bringing back Mask Mandates effective Aug 19.
On one hand I know this isn't really a huge deal - easy to comply, etc, etc, etc, But I can't help but think this is our future and our children's future and grandchildren's future and that makes me very sad.
There's a federal NOAA property near the house. When I drove by the entrance to the property this morning, there was a large well-armed man (including body armor) with a very large truck standing in the way. It was not local law enforcement.
I've never seen someone guarding the gate near the public road. There is a guard shack closer to the physical facility, but that's always been manned by rent-a-cops.
