Said said Janette McCarthy Louard, deputy general counsel of the N.A.A.C.P. , quoted in "N.A.A.C.P. Sues Trump and Giuliani Over Election Fight and Jan. 6 Riot/The civil rights group brought the suit on behalf of Representative Bennie Thompson of Mississippi, with other Democrats in Congress expected to join as plaintiffs" (NYT).
The lawsuit contends that Mr. Trump and Mr. Giuliani violated the Ku Klux Klan Act, an 1871 statute that includes protections against violent conspiracies that interfered with Congress’s constitutional duties; the suit also names the Proud Boys, the far-right nationalist group, and the Oath Keepers militia group. The legal action accuses Mr. Trump, Mr. Giuliani and the two groups of conspiring to incite a violent riot at the Capitol, with the goal of preventing Congress from certifying the election.

Please Democrats keep doing stuff like this. You're educating American on how useless you are at governing fairly.
They are really going all out on this.
They are not confident people.
The Regime is desperate for a race war to misdirect us.
"The votes of people of color were being challenged."
Ah, yes. The race card. The last card of scoundrels.
The Dems are keeping their attack on Trump and the fictional nation full of White Supremacists alive. They have to. Otherwise people are going to start asking: Just what the fuck have you people done in the last 12 years?
But if they really want to adjudicate the election of 2020, I say, let's do this.
I'm basking in the unity of the completely normal, centrist Biden administration.
So much basking in the unity.
"If you look at whose votes were being challenged, these came from largely urban areas. The votes of people of color were being challenged."
Urban areas are where you see questionable voting occur, because they have the population size, as well as the uncertainty regarding voter registrations, necessary to facilitate fraud. It's harder to pump out fake ballots from a low-population district where voting patterns are fairly stable over time.
"The votes of people of color were being challenged."
As they should be.
People of color...JFC. Go away.
Btw, it's 'Colored People.'
I am not wearing jeans of blue today.
I did not make my morning coffee in a 'press from France.'
You get the point...
Riot? Yes. Insurrection? Hardly.
These folks have too many lawyers and too few brains. I can't tell you how many lame "theories of the case" I have seen trotted out in my life in the law. It started in law school in 1970 and has continued until right now.
Next up: their plan to start the TransGirl Hunger Games: USA edition.
"If you look at whose votes were being challenged, these came from largely urban areas. The votes of people of color were being challenged."
As described, shouldn't the complaint fail on its face?
The actual challenges to the electors being made by senators and representatives were lawful and nonviolent.
As a factual matter, didn't the riot interfere with those lawful challenges?
It's racist to oppose the criminal activities of urban political machines.
Thanks for the advice, Achilles. I've deleted the likely false flag racist and also your comments referring to him.
As a practical matter, could Trump use discovery to look into voting irregularities as a means of defense from such a suite? Is so I expect it to be dropped pretty quickly. The people in charge on the left cannot grasp the Trump is a fighter. He's not going to give up until he is dead and you can't criminalize 75 million + people without consequences.
Um... white is a color. POC shred the evidence. In 2016 election Detroit, POC left ballot containers "unsealed". Competence or criminal? Clinton's recount effort scrubbed. It is, after all, a learning experience. Soros fixed that mistake this time around. Vote watchers not allowed to watch in 2020. Even from outside the covered windows. Wassup wid dat?
Question: I am a pink flesh tone. Does that count as a color? How about Elizabeth Warren? She's sorta pink, too, in lots of ways.
According to 23andME, I am a little less than one-one thousandth Kenyan. Can I be a POC?
I want my rights here.
This seems like it will end badly for the NAACP after giving Trump their rare lifetime achievement award, along with Jesse Jackson and Rosa Parks. Rare company for a KKK leader. Wait. Trump isn’t a KKK leader? Nevermind.
The Griftocracy is terrified that both black and white citizens in this country will realize they have the same enemy.
What does Rob Reiner think?
Keep this focus where it belongs.
The Biden Regime is illegitimate and everyone knows it.
They will try to divide the country along racial lines.
They will flood it with people from Central America and call you a racist for opposing open borders.
They will push gun control. Hard.
They will normalize mail in voting.
They will pursue domestic terrorists, i.e. political opponents.
How embarrassing. A universal phrase for the times.
Hey, I'm loving this new Biden Era Of Peace And Understanding And Unity.... aren't you?
They're protecting the votes of black people, both those who voted and those who didn't.
I think I see our path to victory though.
Print off 100 million mail in ballots.
Label them "BLACK VOTERS."
Turn them in at 3:30AM the day after election day.
Call anyone who challenges them racist.
What could possibly go wrong?
Blacks who count votes have been told that Republicans suppress Black voting.
They have been told that Stacey Abrams won the election for Georgia' governor but was cheated out of her win.
They have been told that Donald Trump is a racist who said publicly that White supremacists are "fine people".
Since Blacks who count votes have been told so, there was much false vote-counting in Atlanta, Detroit, Milwaukee and Philadelphia -- cities that are populated and governed by Blacks.
Let's see.
The news was full of lines about Trump's unfounded claims of vote fraud.
How about we see some lines about the NAACP's unfounded claims that Trump incited an insurrection?
Nah, don't hold your breath.
"If you look at whose votes were being challenged, these came from largely urban areas. The votes of people of color were being challenged."
She's right, just not for the reasons she states. The fraud that mattered did occur in urban areas controlled by the Democratic party (Atlanta, Philadelphia, Detroit, and Milwaukee). These areas are predominantly people of color, which is why they are controlled by the Democratic Party.
Maybe we all can't get along.
I don’t think anyone's vote was being challenged. The claim was that there were faked votes. In fact it’s quite the reverse of what she says. If I cast a vote for A and a machine counted it for B then the person objecting is *defending* my vote.
But race rhetoric works.
These days a lot of non-profit groups seem to spend a great deal of time, effort and money on political bullshit.
Can we ever return to the days when most non-profit groups actually did good, charitable work?

We should get rid of "non-profit."
It is just a way for wealthy people to launder money into political influence now.
ENOUGH! ENOUGH ALREADY!!!
I know its talking to stupid people that only desire to push a narrative, that is counter to the facts, but here goes.
The only votes challenged were illegal votes.
Now he remedy might be to disallow those voting precincts. But that would be the officials ignoring the law, tossing out the votes. Not the ones that discovered the crime. I think we have at least two courts that ruled election officials violated the law by including ballots that should not have been included in the total... much to late to affect the election, but validating the charges of election fraud.
"The votes of people of color were being challenged."
No, it's the votes of the nonexistent people that are being challenged. What's the color of nonexistent people? Infrared or Ultraviolet? Maybe microwave or X-ray.
"The votes of people of color were being challenged."
With all of these fake ballots, how do we know what the votes of the people of color really were? Isn't that disenfranchisement?
NAACP is fearful that all the grift is going to BLM.
We should get rid of "non-profit."
The term non-profit needs to be better understood.
It means that profits cannot be distributed back to stakeholders. Taxes are paid on profits, and must be put back into the entity.
Non-protits that can accept tax deductible donations, are a category of non-profits.
And here I thought the big news story on 4 November was how educated whites put Biden over Trump.
challenging an election where it was more than obvious late-night shenanigans were taking place has NOTHING TO DO WITH RACE.
"If you look at whose votes were being challenged, these came from largely urban areas. The votes of people of color were being challenged."
I caught Sidney Powell in the middle of her first speech. She seemed credible. I watched her again from the beginning and was embarrassed of my assumption, she seemed kind of nuts watching it in its entirety. I also thought her experience was different....
I think she did a great disservice to Trump and to the nation.
The argument in Pennsylvania was not about challenging Black votes, it was about not giving the same weight and clarification to every other vote outside of Philadelphia. No one outside of Philly got a chance to remedy or cure their absentee ballot that would also apply to Black voters In Pittsburgh.
A good challenge was also the intimidation of ballot count observers in Philadelphia.
There was a commenter here that did a better job of illustrating those issues. Instead some were waiting for Powell to bring the “kraken”.
The whole Capitol riot was part of a long process where legitimate grievances were thrown out of Court in part because of poor representation.
Judges got on their high horses and decided to write humiliating opinions more about the lawyers for Trump etc., which added fuel to the fire.
I think the damn arrogance and courts failed America, and that’s how we ended up with the Capitol riot because there was no place for these people to be heard.
The media, even FOX News and the justice system have all shut the escape valves to a system that is boiling, the damn thing will explode if it is not allowed to vent.
The Courts failed. Had they allowed one proceeding at least people would have felt that the issues at the very least got a fair airing instead the Courts decided to clamp down.
(But yes let’s once again make the issue all about race, the Democrats only have two cards, maybe three.)

Ha ha ha. Oh Jimminy Crickets is that funny. *They are just warming up*. It’s about to get so much worse.
Who knew that fictional electronic votes were Black?
Hmmmm.... and yet the Constitutions says you can overthrow the government if it grows tyrannical.. like stuffing the ballot boxes.
And the Constitution 'trumps', no pun intended, a congressional law. Seems like this KKK law is unconstitutional.
Electoral Fraud in Black and White, an article written by Chanda Chisala in early December 2020, includes the following passages:
.... What seems to be much more conspicuous is the role that black operatives played: the job of good old ballot box stuffing and (especially) well-organized illicit ballot harvesting.
For taking such a big risk, the black community will need a few more favors than ordinarily granted to them. The most senior black Congressman, Jim Clyburn, has already started making demands for Biden to start paying up. ....
This led me to start looking at the videos of all the election counting centers where there have been allegations of major process irregularities in battleground states from sworn testimonies of witnesses, including stories of new ballot boxes being dropped there in the middle of the night. The workers in those offices were almost always predominantly black too!
I had to ask myself again: is it really possible that black political operatives had pulled off the biggest electoral crime in American history? ....
When I found the photos of all the people mentioned in this damning affidavit, the hypothesis that blacks were the ones executing the groundwork for the 2020 fraud in the different battleground states was very nearly confirmed. ...
What makes blacks more able to pull off such large-scale ballot harvesting operations is the ready supply of the one asset required for all organized crime: a large network of trust.
I think groups like the Italian mafia and the Jewish mafia may have almost disappeared precisely because of a dwindling supply of people among them who still see themselves as surviving outside the mainstream American community that despises them while belonging to an ethnic “family” that values them. Blacks, on the other hand, still largely see themselves as part of such an outsider “family” that is expected to trust each other, as they collectively figure out how to survive that common enemy who has all the power and wants to “systemically” harm them with it. ....
This black family consciousness can be used not only politically (the family is expected to vote together for the same party, one that is at least led by servile whites), but even for other less legal collaborations, if necessary. When you truly believe that you are under some Hitlerian existential threat, it is actually rational to bend some rules to help your survival, especially if those rules are made by the same evil power that systemically seeks your destruction.
At the Michigan House hearings to consider the Trump campaign’s case, one recent Indian immigrant who was one of the GOP poll watchers, witnessed this familial spirit in action. The black poll workers in the room thought she was a Democrat because she’s from a dark-looking minority race, and they confidentially told her that “we have to get those m-fers out of here.” According to her, they were referring to all the “white, male Republican” poll watchers, who were apparently insisting on monitoring everything going on (a.k.a doing their job). They successfully booted them out. ...

Correct. Dems always push their agendas forward.
They never have to defend because Rs never attack.
They propose crazy ideas 10 steps to the left. Rs expend massive amounts of political capital to bring the crazy idea 7 steps back to the middle and call it a victory.
Except now we're 3 steps toward the left and everyone thinks it's 'normal.'
This is how you lose the culture wars.

It is not dumb.
It is a time tested and often used tactic to divide different tribes against themselves in order to maintain control of a multi-tribe society.
This has been done many times in history. It often leads to one tribe massacring/persecuting another tribe.
The same people remain in power no matter which tribe is doing the persecution. The same people that fought for slavery are now using the same tribal enmities to justify their hold on power. It doesn't matter to them which tribe they use.

It's not just leverage from blocs, identity defined by skin color ("people of color"), but a trillion dollar diversity racket that is at stake. Democrats will never forgive Republicans for standing up to slavery, diversity, social justice, KKK, etc. Trump was the anti-liberal, anti-progressive, pro-American trifecta: Pro-Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness, without diversity, sexism, and genderism.

It should be since even the unrebutted allegations do not meet the definition of incitement. But often cases the left wants to win are opportunities to invent new law. For example when academia violated the equal protection clause the Supreme Court responded by inventing the legal foundation for "diversity". The principle seems to be when left wingers really want something it is the responsibility of the court to find a justification.
This is why leftists worked so hard to control our legal education.

Hutu vs Tutsi. Lynching in post-apartheid Progressive South Africa. From Tripoli to Kiev. Nazi Germany. Dezi America. Maoist China on a forward-looking basis. Chicago. LA. New York City. Diversity has always been the bigots' weapon of choice, albeit a double-edged scalpel, which requires them to exercise liberal license and wicked solutions.
What a fucking set up. Have white people coordinate voter fraud in heavily minority metropolitan areas, and then accuse anyone who wants a real audit of racism. This is why Althouse can't say publicly that she knows the fraud was real.
What about Madison, WI? They have a lot of white people. They cheated. All six members of the Wisconsin Election commission are white. Three of them supported the fraud.
And all the Wisconsin Supreme Court Justices who voted to the clean up the voter rolls according to state law are all white. The whole court is white.
And are we supposed to pretend that all the white people in Milwaukee, Atlanta, Philly were Trump voters?
Such Bullshit. The vote fraud was all in swing states, concentrated in their cities.
Nobody is asking for a vote audit of Chicago, NY, Los Angeles, Austin etc…
The REAL racists are the white people who coordinated the fraud and used minority communities to hide their crime.
That’s how Madison, WI uses the minorities of Milwaukee. It really is some sick shit.
Anything in the NYT is untrustworthy.
Interesting. Per Wikipedia:
In December 2020, the NAACP sued U.S. President Donald Trump and the Republican Party under the act. According to the lawsuit, President Trump and the Republican Party "coordinated conspiracy to disenfranchise Black voters" through legal actions intended to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election and through "intimidation and coercion of election officials and volunteers".
In February 2021, the NAACP and law firm Cohen Milstein Sellers & Toll filed another suit regarding the act on behalf of U.S. Representative Bennie Thompson. Other congresspersons were to join the litigation as plaintiffs. The February suit is filed against U.S. President Donald Trump, Rudy Giuliani, the Proud Boys, and the Oath Keepers. It alleges violations of the act pertaining to attempts to reject certification of the election results during the 2021 United States Electoral College vote count, as well as alleging conspiracy to incite violence leading to the 2021 storming of the U.S. Capitol.
I'm no lawyer, but it sounds like a crock of shit to me.
It's courtroom humor.
The old tried and true formula of anyone who doesn't see things my way can only be racist. There are no other possibilities. And anyone attempting to disagree with me should be attacked as white supremecist and sued, censored, deplatformed, be rendered unemployable, and perhaps even jailed. These folks will codify unsecure elections. Europe experimented with mail in ballots back in the 1970s. There was so much fraud they were outlawed.
Hey Althouse...How come his doesn't get the "Lawsuits I hope will fail" tag?
The irony is, as Gusty Winds noted, the people in swing state cities were coordinated to commit the fraud likely by white people in DC and elsewhere. They were successful in engineering the Biden illegitimate win. To thank them, Biden opened the floodgates on the southern border. This hurts the AA community the most. Tough to be a democrat.
. But often cases the left wants to win are opportunities to invent new law.

My guess is that they'll want to keep Biden as the figurehead since Kamala is fairly unlikeable obviously. I don't think that they will be able to hide it by then. Also, if it looks like they're going to lose the Senate in 2022, they'll want Harris to have a chance to nominate a VP without making a deal with a GOP-controlled Senate.
I agree that Harris is unpopular, which is why I suspect that the Cuomo stuff has come out now: it's a way to kneecap him and prevent a primary challenge in 2024. I suspect that they'll use Biden to push through all the controversial stuff and let him take the heat, so that Harris looks better in comparison.
"If you look at whose votes were being challenged, these came from largely urban areas. The votes of people of color were being challenged."
Well, Janette- here's what you do. Audit all those votes and demonstrate to everybody that there was no fraud. I mean- that's what you do if you believe there was no fraud. If you're not so sure about the fraud thing, then you should call anyone who questions the vote a racist.
""The votes of people of color were being challenged.""
You can laugh, but it's true. When they passed the law to make everyone check their race-box on the ballot, that's when I stopped voting. I knew that information would be used to sort out the ballots cast by POC, which would then be thrown away, I decided that I could no longer in good conscience participate in the voting process.

Been a while...you were missed.
"If you look at whose votes were being challenged, these came from largely urban areas. The votes of people of color were being challenged."
If you look at whose votes were being stolen, these came from largely urban areas. The votes of people of color were being stolen, their voices trampled.
FIFY
Because it was Democrat Party hack "vote counters" who were committing vote fraud using those urban people's votes.
If the NAACP weren't utter scum, they'd strongly object to Party officials stealing those votes. But instead they celebrate the theft.
Because political power is all that matters to them.
How much longer before we get to boring?
Are we there yet?

None.
The people pulling the strings do. They have done this before. It generally works out for them pretty well.
The idiots like Howard not so much.
But anyone who takes any position based on race is making a mistake no matter what side you take.
Black people have legitimate grievances. They are being used by greedy evil people. Telling them they are not is both wrong and poor tactics. They are being used by the same people that mailed millions of fake votes and are opening the borders.
Luckily, Rudy also challenged massive fraud in Arizona and Nevada.
If you look at who was fortifying the election, the fortifying came from largely urban areas. White people using people of color as their tools were fortifying the election.
One wonders whether the Ku Klux Klan Act of 1871 might apply to the recent activities of BLM, and Big Tech and shadowy parties, faces hidden.
"... by force, intimidation, or threat to deter any party or witness in any court of the United States from attending such court, or from testifying in any matter pending in such court fully, freely, and truthfully, or to injure any such party or witness in his person or property on account of his having so attended or testified..."
Lawyers for Trump threatened and intimidated so that they quit; Lawyers for Trump presently being threatened
The Ku Kux Klan Act: to whom does it apply at present?
"... shall conspire together, or go in disguise upon the public highway or upon the premises of another for the purpose, either directly or indirectly, of depriving any person or any class of persons of the equal protection of the laws, or of equal privileges or immunities under the laws..."
Big Tech using unseen monitors on the information highway to deprive conservatives of free speech on Twitter or in Hollywood?
To whom does the Ku Klux KLan Act apply today?
... or by force, intimidation, or threat to induce any officer of the United States to leave any State, district, or place where his duties as such officer might lawfully be performed, or to injure him in his person or property on account of his lawful discharge of the duties of his office, or to injure his person while engaged in the lawful discharge of the duties of his office"
US Marshalls were attacked by BLM, Antifa. Does The KKK Act of 1871 apply to celebrities supporting these acts and contributing to funds bailing out the persons attacking US Marshalls and Courthouses?
"Underlying this insurrection were the actions of folks who were challenging the voices of people of color."
Please stop using the word "folks."
It reminds me of the volks in volkswagen which reminds me of Nazis. This is hurtful.
Or was that usage intentional? Why did they use the word folks instead of people?
How come we never hear of folks of color?
You my stigma, Howard...
Colored People.
It's a wonder, Achilles, why Black people don't cleave to your Trumper confederation?

Nothing. See the Walk Away movement, and Blexit. Those movements were enough of a threat to get deplatformed.
Take notice of the fact that outside of four specific cities (Atlanta, Philadelphia, Milwaukee and Detroit) Trump's share of the vote increased among every except White men.
Ku Klux Klan Act
The great bogeymen of the cultural left. The KKK was pretty much wiped out in the 1980s The remnants mostly spent the 90s going on tabloid talk shows, where they'd be booed, hissed, and shouted down by the host, audience, and other panel members. All that remains are a few franchises, like Stormfront and David Duke. Most of their energy is spent complaining about Jews, denying the holocaust, and generally being very self-pitying.
After the 2016 election, all sorts of totally innocuous situations (e.g. a cover on a piece of lab equipment) were mistaken for KKK "sightings." The black Colorado Springs cop who "infiltrated" the Klan in 1979 and inspired the Spike Lee biopic spent nine months making fake phone calls before the case was dropped due to no illegal activity being detected. In the movie, they throw in a bomb plot against a black student union for dramatic effect.
During W's second term, the view from the cultural left was that the religious right was a dangerously ascendant faction, and we were on the verge of being transformed into a fascist theocracy. Chris Hedges published American Fascists: The Christian Right and the War on America in early 2007. Naomi Wolff published The End of America: Letter of Warning to a Young Patriot the same year.
How can they even count votes in "urban " areas, math is racist !

A very large number of them did Howard.
Part of your limitations as a racist is that you view all black people in a monolithic fashion. You also think Black people are too stupid to get an ID and justify calling requirements for voter ID racist.
I don't believe you actually think that Black people can't get an ID. I just think you know your position is indefensible on a logical level and you seek refuge in an argument that allows you to claim your opponents are racist and run off giggling as if that settles the argument.
The other problem is that as you can see on this board "conservatives" have largely dismissed black people's concerns pretending they would be able to do better in a similar situation.
It is my position that the thought leaders of the conservative movement have fostered and cultivated this attitude. It is the natural position of any human to instinctively side with their race/tribe. We all went along with this stupidity just like Free Trade and bringing Democracy to the Middle East were also stupid ideas in hind sight.
Black people did better under Trump and a lot of them noticed. That is why he got 75 million or more legitimate votes and Biden got ~62 million.
Political Leaders of the Republican/Conservative movement have been acting in bad faith for a long time.
One thing I find interesting is how quickly your side snaps them up as allies after we kick them out.
A thought experiment. How would it sound if somebody took a video of white BLM activist fiery speech and they digitally put a white hood on the speaker.
How would it sound?
Would the meaning of the words change, if you didn't know it was meathead?
If racism is the topic, let's consider the unspeakable:

The meaning is the same every time. The goals are the same every time.
After putting the white hood on them just change any reference starting with "White" to any minority in history that was wiped out or enslaved by societal/government action.

Yes, and please never talk about folk music, folk remedies, and folk customs. These should be people's music, people's remedies, and people's customs. Orwell actually warned us about people like you.

It's fascinating to see how the successful decades long campaign to make racism the ultimate stigma has now been leveraged into redefining racism as opposition to corrupt, narcissistic, demagogic incompetence.
colored -> negro -> black -> colored

@Achilles:
A very large number of them did Howard.
While Trump improved his share of the black vote from 2016, black Americans still voted overwhelmingly for the Democrats. He improved with the black male vote, but black women were the Democrats' most loyal voting bloc. Trump also underperformed with whites compared to 2016.
If Republicans want to make a grab for the black working class, it will have to adopt a more economically populist message. It will also need to come to some kind of reconciliation over the racial issue beyond just adopting the exact opposite of whatever the left claims. Other than gun policy, the issue that most divides Democrats and Republicans is racial episodes. We need to find a synthesis between these two positions.

The first thing Republican voters need to do is kick all Washington DC Republicans out. They can't be allowed to speak for Republican voters anymore. They operate in bad faith.
The Economically Populist message is correct but at the moment the second policy position I would focus on.
The first policy position I would focus on is School Choice. The public school teacher unions are absolutely reviled by all parents everywhere right now. They are absolutely toxic. And Joe Biden not opening schools is driving parents everywhere of every race into a frothing rage. The University System is not far behind. They are going to be buried by lawsuits by students who are rightfully angry about being forced to pay University Tuition prices for online school.
The education system in our country is infested with Communist/Socialist anti-liberal bullshit. The whole forcing high school girls to compete against boys thing is a massive unforced error and the trans-agenda is more unpopular with Black people than it is with white people.
This would be a place with a lot of common ground.
*I disagree with the under performed with whites position. He got more First he got more "white" votes in 2020 than 2016. Second a lot of Biden's "white" votes were non-existent mail in ballots.
@Achilles:
The first policy position I would focus on is School Choice.
I am fine with school choice policies, but I don't think they are quite the panacea many proponents assume. The black-white gap in educational attainment isn't really driven by a lack of school choice or the existence of teachers unions or a political bias among educators. What makes a bad school is bad students.
There actually isn't much evidence that professors have any real power to "indoctrinate" or otherwise induce students to change their political views, which are much more fundamentally shaped by familial, communal, and peer relationships.
can someone in Congress actually do there job and get these old time laws off the books? The 1871 KKK act? Give me a break. And lets get rid of the Logan act while we're at if. If convicting someone of it is such a joke, it shouldn't be on the books.
We used to have "Sunset legislation" to get these out-of-date laws off the books. What happened?
Trump got the most black votes since Nixon. In over percentage terms he doubled Mitt's 6% in many states. which is why the 98% black votes against Trump in many key battleground states ae so obviously fraudulent.
What makes a bad school is bad students.
There actually isn't much evidence that professors have any real power to "indoctrinate" or otherwise induce students to change their political views, which are much more fundamentally shaped by familial, communal, and peer relationships.
What is the cause of bad students?
My observation is bad students are caused by bad families. The student shows up at school, hungry, tired, and, the worst, unloved.
Which is why it is so easy for teachers, and not the family, to shape their world view,
You have to give it to the liberals/Democrats. They commit the most massive and obvious vote fraud in US History and THEY sue Trump! They refused all requests to audit and validate the votes in the Key battleground states and got the MSM and Big Tech to censor and ban any discussion of the vote fraud.
And now they turn around and sue Trump for complaining about it. Is the NAACP Jewish? Because talk about Chutzpah!
Glad I retired. I've worked with a mostly minority workforce all of my life with real human connection, without issue, without animosity, with complete mutual respect. I still get holiday greeting cards from some of my closest coworkers, most recently a VD card from a woman that I adore. I couldn't do it now. I won't associate myself in any way with anyone that is not my race for fear of future repurcusions. Of course this is the plan. All out fear of association. Fuck you Liberals. You deserve what is coming.
Those who voted for Biden, however many there were, who ever they were, voted for normalcy. They didn't vote for the endless lockdown; schools closed in just those areas that delivered Biden's victory; a message to whites saying vaccinations are OK while ?somehow? the blacks are getting the contrary message - again, in just those areas that delivered Biden's victory. When the Irish got the vote the politicians felt they had to deliver safe streets and good schools in our area or we'd vote against them. That's not how the pols in Milwaukee feel about the areas that delivered for Biden. They're giving those areas less in the way of schools and vaccinations. It's all so strange.
It looks like we are in for four more years of "racial healing" after the 8 years of Obama apparently did not heal all the racial wounds.
Black Lives Matter. But, do they matter to Black men?
While Trump improved his share of the black vote from 2016, black Americans still voted overwhelmingly for the Democrats.
Which is why Trump ultimately wasted time and political capital to get the First Step Act (FSA) passed. Morally, it was the right thing to do, no argument. But if black people are going to overwhelmingly give their votes to the author of the 1994 “Lock the S. O. B.s up” legislation (Joe Biden) and not to the man who brought jobs to the black community and who tried to rectify the worst excesses of Biden’s legislation via the FSA, then politically not worth the effort.
Hispanic voters are worth pursuing. Asian voters are worth pursuing. Blacks? Only after you’ve maxed out every other voting block.

This is heavily driven by the education levels of the parents. This is a derivative of the cultural importance placed on education of a tribe/group.
But you have to start somewhere with people.
What makes a bad school is bad students.
Meh. Obvious but unimportant and slightly misleading. A lot of kids do not fit into the specific and cookie cutter educational system we have. Some kids do very well in that system.
There actually isn't much evidence that professors have any real power to "indoctrinate" or otherwise induce students to change their political views, which are much more fundamentally shaped by familial, communal, and peer relationships.
But we are into this several generations. Now all of the paths to positions in the Mandarinate are controlled by the Ivy League. The Ivy League is is a pure filter for progressive leftists. This filters down to 99% of universities which control local state juntas. Our public education system is saturated by mediocre leftists who are completely detached from what makes a good free citizen.
This system needs to burn or the country will continue inevitable decline.
The point is that this would be a natural alliance of working class interests of every race. We all have kids and we all want what is best for them.
This is just stupid. Trump was one of the more celebrated equality folks by libs prior to becoming President. And while he was President, he did more for minority, particularly Black, voters and citizens than any Dem before his time in office. He also gained more minority voters than any (R) prior in a long time.
Hopefully this case and others like it will get dismissed with extreme prejudice, no pun intended.
The insurrection (which it wasn't) was racist!
Isn't everything?
I guess only white folks care about voter fraud.
@iowan2:
What is the cause of bad students?
My observation is bad students are caused by bad families. The student shows up at school, hungry, tired, and, the worst, unloved.
Dysfunctional family environments are definitely a problem, but they don't explain the black-white achievement gap, which persists even when family structure and socioeconomic status are controlled for. Average differences in cognitive ability and personality traits, both of which have a large genetic component, are playing a role here.
Which is why it is so easy for teachers, and not the family, to shape their world view.
The worldview that's being criticized, though, is not that of black Americans but of white liberal, urban women. Children don't really learn their culture so much as acquire it through observation of the environment and patterns of interpersonal relationships within their families and among their parents. A good deal of a child's socialization and enculturation has occurred before he ever starts public school.
@Achilles:
This is heavily driven by the education levels of the parents. This is a derivative of the cultural importance placed on education of a tribe/group.
It's also a derivative of being from a sub-Saharan African population rather than a northwestern or northeastern Eurasian.
Meh. Obvious but unimportant and slightly misleading. A lot of kids do not fit into the specific and cookie cutter educational system we have. Some kids do very well in that system.
I don't mean "bad students" in a moral or behavioral way. If one school's student body had an average IQ of 85 and another school's an average IQ of 100, it doesn't make sense to say that the difference in performance between the two student bodies was a result of the quality of the schools.
The point is that this would be a natural alliance of working class interests of every race. We all have kids and we all want what is best for them.
And that's why middle-class white and East Asian families will continue to avoid schools with large black student bodies.
These kinds of headlines are infuriating because of the basic premise that one man one vote is racist. There are trillions of dollars and there is immense power at stake in an election and safeguards against cheating are necessary.
Besides, Google, Twitter, and Facebook assured us that such safeguards were in place when in fact they were not. Signature verification is not racist.
The national association for the advancement of colored people has lost its way. Do they consider indian and hispanic people to be colored?
I like this law suit that challenges the obvious.
We are in a state of insurrection all right....but it was not President Trump and his supporters who committed it.
The democrat machine closed the polls, adjusted the machines, hauled in pre-filled ballots by the truckloads, used fake, dead voters names, and other means - in a massive fraud against the American people.
Then, the courts, Congress, Dept of Just-us, other agencies and the media joined in the crime; gaslighting, denying, and perpetuating the fraud.
They won't quit, will they? Even after they "won".
