"The club, which formed in 2017 to dispel stereotypes against black people, welcomed all riders for a march from Gateway Towne Center to Compton City Hall."
It is so fake and pure virtual signaling to be wearing a mask outdoors when it is 70 plus degrees. It might as well say, "I'm a frightened child and dope."
production value. After images of some blacks and white sociopath Antifa goons breaking things, burning things, spay painting things destroying property and looting - this is what we get.
is it even real or are these people hired by hollywood?
I hope it's real. But there is a production quality to it.
Does an outtake from 'Mister Ed' capture the talking equine making a racist comment?

Comment: My friend told me that Mr. Ed made a racist comment on one of the episodes, so I looked it up and found a video clip. Is it true or is it racist?
This isn’t a vintage 1961 TV clip; it’s a retro re-creation taken from a March 2003 episode of the Comedy Central series Chappelle’s Show (starring comic Dave Chappelle), an episode featuring a spoof investigative news piece about racist animal stars in the entertainment industry:
They reinforced the stereotypes that blacks are racists obsessed with their own race, that they blame white people for their own shortcomings, and that they're ignorant and like stupid slogans.
"The club, which formed in 2017 to dispel stereotypes against black people, welcomed all riders for a march from Gateway Towne Center to Compton City Hall."
Excellent!
Now how did this happen without people rioting and corporations giving millions to their cause?
Some of you need to catch up - dope, like bad, wicked, bitchin' means good. Kids, always messin' with the language.
Just like, defund the police, doesn't mean, "defund" the police. It means, take the money and hire other people to do what the police do, but call them something different, less threatening. It'll be dope.
The Crack Emcee: "You see niggas on horses all the time in Compton."
Not just Compton in Southern California, but Compton does seem to carry on the tradition of the black cowboy more than alot of other places. Possibly a holdover from the age of Hollywood westerns.
Whats really fun to think about is the remaining 3 significant urban oil fields that are still being tapped within Los Angeles proper. You can google earth the largest exposed field at Inglewood. Can you imagine how much value that field still generates to keep it more profitable than selling off for development?
Another oil field runs under Sunset Blvd to downtown LA and its pumping stations are hidden within attractive buildings that disguise the pumping operations.
There are things that people do, such as ride horses, own firearms, build things, play sports, where participation by those outside the group is not just allowed, but encouraged. I applaud the Compton Cowboys and would love to ride with them!
My town has a parade before the rodeo every year. One of the groups in the parade is the black cowboys. It does catch me by surprise every time, but it's cool nonetheless. The best part of the parade is a group of Mexicans with dancing horses.
I see Crack hasn't taken my advice of leaving the looted-out cities and trying his hand at forced reparations in the suburbs and small towns of northern Georgia. I know that because he's still alive. Pussy.
It's like a gay pride parade for black people. Peace, joy, love, black pride. Sure works better than vandalism and looting if you want to improve race relations. I'm surprised blacks didn't think of it sooner.
I applaud the Compton Cowboys and would love to ride with them!
@mikee, based on the article, you won’t be welcome unless you’re black, like them. Raises the question of whether blacks-only clubs ought to be as illegal as whites-only organizations, but that’s a question for another day.
I love that the media has to emphasize that a given gathering was "peaceful". Though I have it on good authority that many gatherings in Seattle reported as such were anything but.

What stereotypes? Just down from where I lived in Houston - about 3 miles - was a black cowboy rodeo. They had a hooraw every Saturday night. And every year they participate in the Houston Rodeo Trail Drive. It’s only a stereotype to white liberals who live in cloistered communities.

The Compton Cowboys have been around since they were mere youts. There are 9 males and one woman. The ranch is just blocks away from the downtown area of Compton. Their motto is "the streets raised us, the horses saved us".

There are two people walking around my office building in face masks and gloves. I have a *low* opinion of these people. Dopes.
Where do they keep the horses?

Not seeing much of the cowboys/horses there.
Line to be used in a Blazing Saddles sequel:
"I am your worst nightmare -- a Black man on a horse."

"FRONTLINE" - RACIST HOLLYWOOD ANIMALS - UNCENSORED
Flipper and other famous Hollywood animals are outed as bigots in this expose.
Nice! Too bad all the other protests lacked the peaceable ursine ambience of this peace walk. This is the way to do it!
I like the Stetsons!
They reinforced the stereotypes that blacks are racists obsessed with their own race, that they blame white people for their own shortcomings, and that they're ignorant and like stupid slogans.
At least nobody was murdered.
Let us gather what gold we can among the dross
You see niggas on horses all the time in Compton.
Looks like fun.
Dispelling stereotypes is good.
Good.
This is the kind of protest America welcomes! Ride on, gentlemen!
Save a horse. Ride a popo.

The world wonders...
Yeah, I'm gon' take my horse to the old town road
I'm gonna ride 'til I can't no more
"Who was that masked man?" Heigh-ho, Silver!
It's narcissistic pussy signalling to criticize mask wearing.
Who were the masked men? Hi oh Silver.
Good to something positive for a change.
It's interesting just how many people have no idea how many blacks were real cowboys/cowpokes after the Civil War.
Mike, did ya mean equine? Ursine pertains to bears and only Russians are crazy enough to ride bears for fun
I agree with Drago. Apparently people have forgotten (or never heard of) Nat Love or Bill Pickett or Bass Reeves.
"It's interesting just how many people have no idea how many blacks were real cowboys/cowpokes after the Civil War."
And sureshot regulators for hire.

Those are beautiful horses. Not something I would ever want to throw my money away on though.

Howard: "It's narcissistic pussy signalling to criticize mask wearing."
Howard's rhetorical ploys to try and get people to stop commenting on obvious lefty hypocrisy and disingenuous tactics are always fun to read.
Great message.
If they vote for Democrats they will get screwed.
Just like the last 50 years in LA.

Don't discount the possibility of ironic mask wearing. Especiually in light of the looting and riots.
Yo gatornavy: Yep can’t even blame it on autocorrect this time. More coffee!
They should’ve invited the Sheriff's mounted volunteers too.
Drago must interpret my posts into the cuck language so you people can read it the right way. I accept that.
Unlike the video, the screenshot seems apocalyptic.

Exploiting horses' bodies, you mean.
Which stereotype are they trying to dispel?

If only horses came in an SUV package, we'd all still be riding them.
Straight Outta Tombstone.

If your first thought this is a joke about POC on horses, you might be a racist.
All you ever do is "pussy signal" Howard. You're so PC you crap platitutdes.

Poor, naked wretches, where so e’er you are,

Lots of jacaranda trees in Compton. My grandparents lived there until the mid 1960s and the smell of jacarandas always reminds me of their house.

An excellent book about them was just published in April by HarperCollins with the William Morrow imprint. There is a film in development about them based on the book at Fox Searchlight.
Here is an outstanding Guinness commercialand a terrific McDonald's commercial one or more of them are in.
They're really good folks.
