Man and woman framed by the dark strong solid wood on the left. On the right is the fleeting leaves and twigs awaiting the death in the Fall. In front of them is water, the foreboding deep. The deep, the water, the abyss and with it the future and land on the opposite bank.

It will all end tragically, in pain and disappointment. Unless, unless, they find true happiness and a MAGA hat.

Back in Florida, over 90 degrees, had to wait out a tropical storm somewhere in Dixie while driving here too. I see scenes like yours and I can’t really figure out why I do it.

We wondered who was behind it and why. Now we know — it was always you, through your proxies and ... - Tulsi Gabbard

So now Hillary is Fredo? “We knew it was you Hillary.”

Those Red Berets remind me of April 1, 1991 when the young Paratroops wearing them got off of the C5A carrying the 505 PIR of the 82nd Airborne Division at Pope AFB. It including my son who was a Staff Sgt in the unit. They had deployed on 2 days notice on August 6 1990 and were taken with their their light infantry weapons to stand down Saddam's massed tanks in the deserts of northern Saudi Arabia. They had the waited for over 4 months before the 24th Infantry division's Armor at Ft Stewart, Ga shipped out of the Port of Savannah to join them.

Once the ground campaign began in February , that unit reached Nasiriyah AFB which was the furthest the American forces reached in the Gulf War before the truce in March. They came home first because they had been there the longest.

That was the first of the 5 Wars taking young American lives that got us nothing except
big wealth for the Bush Gang that pushed them.

Anyone here from Washington state? The Democrats want to repeal a law forbidding affirmative action.

I'm from Washington. Yes, the Dems do want to repeal the law banning affirmative action. The campaign for that law claims to be FOR more equality while trying to end it. Shameful, but typical.

I see there is legislation proposed n Congress to make the Supremes account in excruciating detail for their travel and speaking appointment income and expenses.

I think this is an unconstitutional attempt to subjugate an equal branch of government.

However, it does look like the Court should consider tightening up their own internal code of ethics regarding these matters.

@Skylark,
"So now Hillary is Fredo? “We knew it was you Hillary.”"

A better analogy: "But I didn't know until this day that it was Barzini all along."
