Four overtime game for the Cleveland Browns this season.
That must be a record.

A team that won one game over the last two seasons is competitive.
I would really like to see them have legitimate success this season.

Judicial Watch is going after Ford's attorneys.

IIRC, Mueller decided to attack the attorneys of those he wants to investigate. A little prosecutorial extortion.

Well, right back at you!

The thing that pisses me off the most about this is those blithely sitting on the sidelines, supposedly above it all, even though they could clearly SEE how damaging this stuff is to our Trust based society.

And yet they stayed silent.

I hope those lawyers suffer.

I think you have missed the point. The lawyers did NOT deceive her, they DID tell her. It's her testimony that is untrue. The lawyers, by denying the charge, have shown they won’t take the hit, if an investigation comes out it will cast doubt on Ford, not them.

@Humperdink, here in the Virginia 10th Congressional District the Democrat candidate put out a negative ad claiming that the incumbent Republican, Barbara Comstock, “voted with Donald Trump 97.8% of the time.” Comstock turned that around and is running ads proclaiming that she has been with Trump 97.8%. One of them is seriously mistaken about the electorate.

Oopie, Oopie, Oopie, it would appear discernment of the political landscape is not your strong suit. It's pretty clear the Commie-pinko lefties are comprised are more than one group (think diversity *cough*). You have the scream-at-the-sky segment comprised of people such as yourself (read: snowflakes). You also have the Antifa battalion (think mafia hitmen .... er .... hit people). And these are only two of many.

Bruce Hayden said...

"A caravan perfectly timed to help the republicans at the midterms. Coincidence?"

It is, apparently, well documented that money changed hands. Those on the conservative side have assumed that it was the usual left wing billionaire financed AstroTurf operation. George Soros is famous for this sort of thing, but others, like Tom Styer, have also apparently engaged in this sort of AstroTurf operation. Illegal immigration though seems to be much more a Soros thing, which is why I expect him to top the list of potential instigators here.

But, as you suggest, this is unlikely to help the Dems here. For one thing, coming from Central America, it is likely to include at least some violent criminal elements, such as MS-13. And that would feed right into Trump's narrative about some of the recent illegals are really bad people. Probably nothing could focus Trump's supporters more to get to the polls and vote Republican, so that we can Build That Wall, than an army of Central Americans attacking our borders right before the election, defended by a thin line of our military. So, maybe some deep pocketed conservatives are following the lead of Soros, Steyer, etc, and are financing this attack on our national sovereignty to help the Republicans hold Congress, but there really aren't the multitude of well financed, billionaire funded, cutout and front organizations yet on the right, as there are on the left. In other words, the left has the infrastructure in place to pull off this sort of AstroTurf operation. The right probably does not. Which is to say that it is also very possibly a strategic screwup by someone like Soros. At this point we really don't know - all we really know is that it was very likely far from spontaneous.

Trump should have the military meet them at the border, load them into trucks, and transport them 1000 miles north to the Canadian border. Tell them they can either continue north, or be immediately deported back to whatever shithole they came from.

The confusion is entirely in Inga’s mind. The snowflake phenomenon is just another form of bullying. Think of the snowflake mob that drove Prof. Nicholas Christakis and his wife off the Yale campus.

Except that a significant number of unaccompanied children from Central America turn out to be MS-13 gang members. I would, therefore, keep unaccompanied adolescent males with the adult males.

mockturtle said...

Let the migrants in and bus them all to sanctuary cities. More specifically, in Pelosi's and Waters' neighborhoods.

NBC is running a story that a Catholic oriented group is behind the convoy. They apparently carry a cross, and do the Catholic Stations of the Cross thing as they go on.
https://www.nbcnews.com/news/latino/who-s-behind-migrant-caravan-drew-trump-s-ire-n862566?fbclid=IwAR3yxjFmgvodIYqfuYcaPJpaLla1iUlS9ADwDTSctcWFYPQ5B5JhLxHfu9Y

Except that the close up photos show the convoy is mostly late adolescent and older males, and not the families with young children and LGBT (which is the dead giveaway that the NBC article is propaganda). Which historically and culturally makes more sense. Late adolescent and young adult males have traditionally been the people most likely sent by societies to colonize new areas. Note, that is precisely what is going on with the Muslim invasion of Europe right now. This has been happening throughout history. In my case, the first illegal immigrants I ever met was a little over 40 years ago working at a brick factory in Boulder, CO. Most of the hard work was done but illegal Mexicans, who would come north for 8-9 months, work hard, then go back to Mexico for the winter, when the plant was shut down, and live like kings. While their males were working hard here, their families back in Mexico could afford servants.

The polls to which Inga refers are mostly "registered voters" and therefore will overstate the case for Democrats.

Likely voters sub-scores within those polls, on average, show Democrats within the margin of error.
