"The second accuser has nothing. The second accuser thinks maybe it could have been him, maybe not. She admits she was drunk."

"She admits time lapses. She was totally inebriated and all messed up and she doesn’t know... Gee, let’s not make him a supreme court judge."

Said Trump about Deborah Ramirez. He said while sitting next to the President of Colombia at the United Nations, The Guardian reports.

Is Stephen Meigs' family the Meigs for which the airport is named? I've landed my Cessna there many times. On Flight Sim. ;-)

In answer to Achilles and David Begley, there was a poll taken last July which showed Manchin ahead by 29 points if he voted for Kavanaugh, but only ahead by 2 if he didn't. But July was two months ago.

I hope CBF can shed some light on when Kavenaugh started colluding with Putin...
I can't remember if it was before, or after, he joined the KKK. Or was it in between when he was performed his first serial killings but after be became a cannibal?

Atlanta Fed GDP Now has the expected number at 4.4% and Donald Trump will be rallying all over the map.

What motives drive false accusers?

Or - what the D-hack lynch mob press won't touch. Because wish facts!

I hope the crazy cat woman shows up Thursday. She still hasn't signed a sworn statement under penalty of perjury. Technically, there isn't even a viable accusation. There's only an unsigned letter to DiFi.

Dildo woman Ramirez ain't coming either.

How a gentleman might or might not choose to spend his time whilst whiling away the hours on a long, lonely and arduous voyage with a non-zero chance of not making it home alive is the business of no other gentleman.

Ahem.

I said "ahem" good Sir!

There is but one question remaining: how in the world did that hack Robert Mueller fail to bring Michael Avenetti onto his Coup Team?

Headline over at ace.mu.nu: Only two more days before Christine Blasey Ford does not testify before the Senate.

Same family, but it seems most recent common ancestor was born way back in 1641, the first Meigs born in America, I believe. Pretty much all Meigses are theoretically descended from his father, a John Meigs who changed his name from Meggs and actually lived in New Haven for a while. After the restoration, he supposedly rode his horse from Guilford to New Haven to warn Whalley and Goffe, two of the regicide judges who had signed King Charles I's death warrant, that the king's men were after them. Three prominent streets in New Haven, that end about at Yale, are named after Whalley, Goffe, and a third regicide Dixwell.

Interesting, Steve. Some of my ancestors were also in CT in the 1600's, mostly in the New London area.

Did Breyer, Kagan, Ginsburg and Sotomayer ever go to a drunken frat party (m/f). The FBI should investigate this pronto.

Too much is being made of Sasse's, Flake's, Corker's, and Collins' "wavering". They are putting a show of careful consideration while waiting for Ford to make her case. Basically they are making the statement that they won't make up their mind until Ford has testified and Kavanaugh has answered. However, if Ford has nothing more in the way of evidence than what was in the letter and the WaPo story, then all four of those senators will vote to confirm Kavanaugh. In the case of Flake and Corker, it costs them nothing to do this politically; in the case of Sasse, I think he has higher office aspirations, and so is keeping his powder dry; and in the case of Collins, she would probably like to win her next election. Collins, in my opinion, is the only one in danger of voting no on Kavanaugh, and she may well be given permission to vote no if there are no other defections, but I actually expect all 4 to vote for confirmation in the absence of any new evidence, and they will all certainly vote yes if Ford doesn't show at all, which I think is the likely outcome.

From her lawyer's statements sounds like Grassley's team is scared of her.

Her being Ramirez.

Yancey Ward said...

Readering, you are usually better than this. No one is afraid of Ramirez's story- it was less convincing than the unconvincing Ford story, and that was thought impossible.

Yancey Ward said...

I mean, seriously, Kavanaugh exposed himself to a group of people, and only Ramirez remembers it?

Yancey Ward said...

I was reading about the claim from 4chan that Avenetti got played by hoaxers. They didn't offer any proof to the board that they actually did this, but they offered enough detail that Avenetti would know whether or not they are telling the truth. If he, Avenetti, suddenly abandons the story, that would be proof enough that he got fooled, and it does appear that Avenetti has abandoned it.

Ramirez lived in the dorm with Kavanaugh, so she had this accusation thing that was effing Golden. Can the FBI check her bank account for recent multi 100G deposits?

Republicans won't authorize FBI investigation requested by Ramirez.

"I mean, seriously, Kavanaugh exposed himself to a group of people, and only Ramirez remembers it?"

Think about how one would go about wagging their pecker in someone's face. Try to imagine such a scene. It does not compute.

Ramirez was on the floor and vaguely recalled a penis in her face (or was it the dildo that someone pulled out earlier).

If it was a penis, the perpetrator would have to get very close to her. Try to imagine that.

She is far more likely to remember someone entering her private space than anything else. But she only remembers Kavanaugh allegedly making a motion in which it appeared to be pulling up his pants - no pulling down the pants, no pulling out the pecker.

How well endowed would he have to be to wag it in her face? I would guess superhuman.

This accusation is so absurd that it seems like a false flag, sort of like the Creepy Porn Lawyer and his gang rape allegations.

Matt Sablan said...

If Collins votes no, no way any other soft yes can go yes. They'll know the vote will forever be tainted as "voting for a rapist so obviously guilty even Republican Senator Collins voted against him."

If Collins votes no she loses her next election.
