"I operate as if he is a two-term Trump. I have to. If you think any other way..."

"... you are guaranteeing that whoever is going to run against him will lose.... I think the man is an evil genius and he was able to outsmart the smartest person ever to run for president... He figured out how to win by losing the election. How did that happen? Historians are going to deal with this for years to come."

Says Michael Moore (who predicted in 2016 that Trump would win). Moore also said he thinks Trump is the author of that anonymous NYT op-ed: "Trump wrote it. Trump or one of his minions wrote it.... He's the master distractor. He's the king of the misdirect. If we have learned anything by now, it's that he does things to get people to turn away. Let me give you the line in there that is most identifiable that he wants the public to believe. It's the line that says, 'Don't worry, adults are in the room.' That's the idea, to get us to calm down and look away from what he's really doing."

Moore is outspoken about what makes the most sense to him. And he agrees with me on thi analysis of what any fool can plainly see about anonymous. He doesn't know how much of an evil geious Trump really is...it's almost Kirby Smart level.

Michael Moore is a fat Communist.

But.

He does periodically have a few good insights. He correctly predicted Trump would win, because he saw the 50-year old, beer swilling, blue collar types in Mich, and Penn, and Ohio, who were not happy, not traditional Republicans, but not going to vote Hillary.

Give the fat man some credit!

I remember when Trump had dementia. But he has since recovered and is now an evil genius.

Moore is a fat slob but smart enough to make millions from fools who go to his movies.

If any of the lapdog talk show hosts who interview him had an iota of courage, they would say that he predicted the same dictator shit with Bush and Cheney and ask why he was so wrong back then, but now he is right.

Would be funny if Trump wrote it just to see if the NYT would unwittingly print his accomplishments.

What's Trump really doing? Well Trump's tactics are one and the same with Q. That's what has so panicked DC. He seriously plans their arrest and trials for real high crimes, theft and murders of millions. Stay tuned.

Moore, like most Dems, thinks Trump did this all by himself and without the aid of 63 million Americans.

Interesting! Who the hell knows.

The writer of one of Dump's books recently said that the more Trump's lying, the more he protests; that the protests are in direct proportion to the extent he knows he's lying.

What the hell's he on about? Is he talking about the popular vote? Does he seriously not understand how the electoral college works?

I'll give him credit for grasping certain aspects of the Trump phenomenon more readily than most on the left. But I sometimes wonder what Moore imagine's Trump is going to do. I think Moore believes Trump wants to open death camps for a final solution for liberals and cook them all in ovens.

Oh, so now Hillary is the "smartest person to ever run for president"... sorry Obama, progs need this superlative to bash Trump now. You can have it back as soon as they need to say that you were "the smartest ever" again.
Oh, and that "the adults are in charge now" is a snide phrase originated by Democrat party members during the Bush years, just after the American people voted the Pelosi Congress into office- the ones whose first official act was defying the FBI for convicted criminal and Democrat party member of the House William Jefferson.

"the man is an evil genius"

OK, I get that lefties are upset. But what exactly makes him evil? The mere fact that he beat them?

"he was able to outsmart the smartest person ever to run for president"

Wait, what? So Trump wasn't real genius after all: beating people who think that way requires only common sense.

"He figured out how to win by losing the election. How did that happen?"

You mean, like, he won in the Electoral College? You mean, like, the way that book Kavanaugh carried said presidential elections should be decided? I know it is more than a hundred years old and all, but still.

Could someone fill me in on who "the smartest person ever to run for president" is? Surely not Hillary! She was too stupid to pay attention to her husband, one of the best politicians of our generation, was telling her.

According to legend the smartest person every to run for president was Thomas Jefferson. But if we allow unsuccessful candidates from minor parties then perhaps it would be Bob LaFollette.

The thing I like about Trump is that he wins, he gets the job done. The thing that the Dems hate the most about Trump is that he fight like the Dems, he fights to win. I'm just glad Trump's smarter and unlike the corrupt liberal Democrats, he has a good heart.

I dunno. If Hillary was the "smartest person ever to run for President" then she was also the smartest person ever to flunk the District of Columbia Bar exam. Supposedly if you can read the ingredients on the back of a box of Wheaties you can pass the DC Bar exam. But she didn't.

I will give Moore this; I did not expect Trump to win in 2016, but I did tell my more liberal friends that a lot of the people in flyover country or in the "basket of deplorables" were fed up with that pustulent cesspool on the Potomac and would vote against it.

I think the same folks are still fed up; and Trump's successes have probably brought in enough votes for him to win in 2020. Something--in this case Trump--will always beat nothing--which is what the Dems have unless some new, credible Democrat champion appears. The chances of that are Slim and none, and Slim just left town.

Michael Moore helped elect Trump, because he saw that as the fastest way to elect socialists. He’ll help Trump win a second term for the same reason, because one term won’t elect the number of socialists that Moore wants.

You guys are taking Moore literally and not seriously.

I am sure he does not think Hillary is smart. That was sarcasm directed at many people.

"He won by losing"? What is that even supposed to mean? What other than the boob-bait-for-bubbas "popular vote" stacked high with late-day-Californian voters did Trump lose or pretend to lose? The guy worked his ass off, always conducting himself as though he wanted to win. He may have figured that were he to lose he wasn't going to lay himself open to brand-destroying criticism on the lines of "He didn't want to win" / "He didn't run hard enough". We saw and heard enough of that with McCain and Romney, just to name the most recent examples (don't even start on Dole or Mondale).

While we're on the subject of clarifying dumbassed conspiracy-speak memes, what exactly is "he really doing" that we're being turned away from? For all the claims of well-informed smarts (TM) by guys like Moore, he speaks as though he only reads a very narrow band of bias-confirming news and opinion to inform his worldview. I'm sure he's smarter than the sloppy assmallet he presents as himself to the world, so I can only assume he's lobbing Molatov's to get press for his movie promo.

**********************

That's a load of bullshit. Back then, the pass rate for that exam was about 52%. Three long days of essay questions, no multiple choice, no multi-state.

I know. I took it, and passed. (and then went on to spend my life doing entirely different things)

Has it ever occurred to you that DC lawyers would not want more lawyers competing for cases and clients--which is the point of most bar exams?

You know, like a guild?

@Jay - so you are saying that Crooked Hillary is in the bottom half of bar test takers? A Yale Law grad? JFK, Jr probably had the excuse of getting laid too often by too many women, when he failed the NY Bar. Doubt that excuse worked for Herself.

Not a lot of compassion here probably for most of the lawyers, who passed their first Bar exam the first time around. For me, I then took and passed the patent bar a year later with a 30% pass rate, and a second state bar exam a decade later, when I was working full time. That may be the reason that the DC bar looked so hard (when it was rated one of the easiest when I was getting out of LS). My second state, AZ, had a lot of snowbird lawyers, who want to earn a little extra while staying warm, so there was no reciprocity. Someplace, they disaggregated the fresh outs from those with licenses from other states, and found that the pass rates for the latter was below 50%, while at the time, the rate for the former was above 70%. My theory is that those already licensed elsewhere mostly had real jobs when prepping for the bar exam (I worked days, then spent evenings at BAR/BRI in Tempe) which is much more exhausting than just studying for the bar, which is what most of those graduating do. And those core classes (that show up in both the Multistate and essay sections) are that much further away. And, during those years practicing, most get specialized, letting other areas of the law atrophy. For me, it was a decade workg in patents, copyrights, trademarks, and licensing agreements, with nothing to do with Criminal, Constitutional, or family law, and the only Torts being IP infringement. The point of this long diversion is that it is very likely that the DC Bar exam pass rate was brought down by all of the out of state lawyers who wanted to do a bit of business in the nation's capital on the side, maybe even to open a lobbying office there (last I knew, DC was the only jurisdiction where lawyers could share fees with non lawyers, which is very handy when both are working together as lobbyists). And that the fresh out bar pass rate was closer to the 70% or so you find in much of the country, which would have put Rodham in the bottom 30%, and not just bottom 50%, of test takers. In either case, it is highly suggestive that she is far from being the smartest Presidential candidate, or even smartest woman, ever. But I will accept that she just might be the smartest female major party candidate ever - for the same reason that she is probably the dumbest.
