Matt Lauer had a button.

This kind of thing has actually been tried on people deemed sexually deviant.

Shouldn’t the lady just have an app on her phone for it? A clicker is so 1988

The vibrator imagery is clever.

Reminds me of this scene from Cheers.

The trust factor. In other realizations the employee falls backward into the boss's open arms.

Newspapers are pro-female.

A rolled newspaper or squirt gun will also work. Down, boy, girl, whatever. Sit.

This is in fact exactly how several women have come on to me.

Is there a class somewhere?

Was it in Cosmo in the 80's?

My take was that Lauer's button locked onlookers/bad people out, not prey in.

Ahh, it all starts with the innocent office back rub......

I'm surprised that Editor's across the country let it run. Asleep at the wheel? You would think Scott would be on their radar screen as a Trump supporter.

Funny if it’s on Roger Ailes. Matt Lauer not so much.

It's nice of that girl to give the guy an electroejaculation right there in the office!

Is that Garrison Keillor?

Nonapod said...

That system would backfire if the fella was a sexual masochist.

With an electrical shock delivered below the waist? Sounds kind of kinky, but I guess if she was good-looking ...

Owen: "Is that Garrison Keillor?"

Uh oh.

Garrison Keillor is one of LLR Chucks many, many, many, many dem/lefties who he always reflexively defends.

Sometimes with rather violent rhetoric towards those criticizing his beloved lefties.

Owen, I'm afraid you have likely brought on an inevitable LLR Chuck's attacks.

God speed.

I’d seen this on Dilbert.com this morning and missed it—I thought it was the necktie.

Another entry in that big spreadsheet in the Cloud.

I can't imagine any newspaper in the country seeing a woman's sexual violence against a male as a bad thing.

Kate said...

The panel bubble says "shock collar". The hashtag list below it says "sock collar". Typo, wink, or as close as Freud would let him get to "cock"?

Gahrie said...

Women inflicting pain on men, especially their penis, is always funny......

Drago: I am bracing myself in a submissive posture and await the hyperventilating wrath of Chuck/LLR.

But never mind Garrison Keillor: the look of that hapless cartoon character makes me wonder if his name is Dill. As in Dill Doe.

I'm imaging something like what happened to Cartman in the "South Park" movie...

So now Althouse is helping Scott Adams sell individual comic strips? Perhaps Adams's pro-Trump screeds are wearing thin on his fandom.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel online has a picture of the "Women's March Wisconsin". Lots of pink snatch hats.

LOL

You wanna elaborate on the validity of those 2 separate thoughts and the logic behind their implied "connectedness"?

Not to worry. We won't be holding our breath.

The vibrator imagery is clever.

The antagonist is drawn as a dick-with-ears. The necktie around his neck keeps the foreskin from rolling up and over his ears.

“Master Series Cock Shock Remote CBT Electric Cock Ring”

Initially thought this may get be a joke. Read the reviews, and apparently not. Maybe my favorite:

“2.0 out of 5 stars Lame

I though the master series was supposed to be higher quality toys. I had no issue getting this to pair and work. The problem I have is that its kinda lame. It does not deliver much of a punch. The vibration part of this can hardly be felt and for a sound the controller makes a bird whislte? I just dont get it. I was expecting more I guess. If my mistress tries to punish me with this I'll just laugh at her and infuriate her that much more (which is a lot of fun in itself!). Oh well, live and learn.”

Ralph, with the shutdown, I have to take on another job, so I decided to get into sales...I have a bridge in Brooklyn that is perfect for you...

So now Althouse can't post a simple comic without some ninny giving her crap about it?

To paraphrase Andrew Scott as Professor Moriarty in Sherlock S1E1,

That's what gadflies DOOOO!

Of course flies eat shit and should be killed without mercy, but on the other hand, besides spreading disease, they pose only an insignificant distraction.

I think he gets props for honesty, as opposed to A Reasonable Man, who is neither reasonable nor manly.

JML, I'd heard that NBC installed it for him and other celebrities as a security precaution.

Remember, Scott Adams is like DaTrumpster. He is always having fun with people he meets. He thinks people are very entertaining, especially women.

This is a punch-line searching for a joke.

A puckish satire of contemporary mores. A droll spoof aimed more at the heart than the head.

Isn't wonderful how feminism descends so unselfconsciously from mob mentality to totalitarian oppressiveness? So Big Brother becomes Big Sister and the boot stamping a human face forever transforms into a Christian Louboutin spiked heel pump, but little else has changed.

They should have wired the button under Matt Lauer's desk to activate this device.

The fact the collar was worn.... elsewhere, is subtle enough to get past editors. It would have gotten past me if it wasn't for the statement saying Scott was surprised it got published. I was more focused on the existence of a court ordered shock collar as the point of the humor in the first place.
