It's very easy to conflate the Women's March with the violence when (1) the organizers of the Women's March failed to strongly condemn the violence and vandalism, and (2) Ashley Judd's speech emphasized how she and the other marchers were "nasty women."

At the risk of belaboring the obvious: If the popular vote alone, rather than the electoral college, decided the election, the outcome of the popular vote would've been very different. For example, Hillary haters in deep blue states-- trust me, they exist-- that stayed home because Trump had no chance to win in their state would've turned out to vote for Trump. Likewise for Trump haters in deep red states.
