During all of last year you wrote only one post that could be portrayed as being critical of Trump. Just one. You wrote posts critical of Clinton almost everyday.
You are deluding yourself with claims of cruel neutrality. You will delete this post because you know it is true and others -- even the right wingers you cultivate to be your fan base -- can't produce a post of yours that was critical of Trump (besides that one about grabbing pussy and even that one was critical of Clinton) from 2016.
I don't understand how anyone can think Trump is like any of our old bosses. You would probably have to go back a long way in history to find a similarity - like to Andrew Jackson, maybe.
Trump has too much of a mouth, and he has some bad ideas. He is not a libertarian, free trader, small government. But, he is WAY better than the presented alternative.
Early voting, I put Trump with a probable win; voted Libertarian.
After being asked a number of times, I finally explained my position on Trump to my foreign work colleagues.
Trump is like chemotherapy chemicals. Nasty, poison, toxic stuff. And I totally support it and him as long as he is only attacking the cancer.
I won't support him if he starts attacking the healthy body.
The problem, of course, is that doctors have very price tools to administer the exact appropriate amount of chemo, whereas the political levers to control Trump are imprecise and crude.
The situation is analogous to the Planned Parenthood corporation. The expectation is that the abortion chambers can be closed and the Mengele division severed while preserving humane, life compatible aspects of the business.

I am quite happy, so far. Republican Party is being dragged into the 21st Century, sometimes kicking and screaming. But most of the current leadership is now aboard. Needed to be dragged - too long they have been the captives of big businesses, who are temperamentally more international progressives. The same mega corporations who are endangering the country with their lawsuit on the immigration EO, for a handful of H1B visas. We need tax reform, esp corporate tax reform. Immigration reform. Education reform. Military reform and rebuilding. Etc. wasn't going to happen with anyone else (and Crooked Hillary would have made things that much worse). So, yes, I am quite happy. Now, the a Dems need to reform their house too. Still too deep in denial, with the same septuagenarians running the party, still taking money from the wrong people, etc. We shall see how long it takes them.

Sure keep telliing yourselves that, it'll make you feel better.
I find Achilles' point about Karen's pussy hat excellent. The Trump Administration is only maybe three weeks old. We just got Education, Justice, and HHS heads confirmed this week. As was so famously said by a Capt JPJ some 238 years ago: "[we] have not yet begun to fight!" DeVos was kept out of her first school today, by (most likely) teachers' union supported protesters, and we have one of our first high profile Dreamer deportation here in AZ (illegal, with two kids and a felony conviction - why is that our problem? They no doubt have dual citizenship, and can follow her back home, if being with her is that important). I don't think that we are even through the first inning yet. And Karen is telling us the revolution is already over. Hah! Last laugh will be on her.
It's shocking how blind or naive are so many who voted, given how few checked the naked reality: "Here comes the new boss, same as the old boss."
(Trump is different only in that rather than being a wolf in sheep's clothing, he's a wolf in wolf's clothing. His supporters don't seem to realize Trump and his fellow wolves, as wolves always have, will be feasting on them.)

Maybe, just maybe, it's because we realize that free market capitalism has produced the highest standard of living for the most number of people in history.
Maybe, just maybe, it is because we realize that even as the Earth's population reaches new heights, as free market capitalism has spread around the world we now have historic lows in global poverty and hunger.
I hate to be the one to break it to you comrade, but the war is over and capitalism, and the free people of the world, have won.
I am not sure which wolves you are talking about. We really turned into a Hunger Games country under Obama, with the elite in DC making out like bandits, while the center of the country suffered in order to support them. It is, in fact, the Blue Stare elites who have been, and are, the real wolves. Those who run both parties,, but esp the Dem party. For every billionaire who has gone to work for, or thrown in with Trump, there are a half dozen or more on the other side. And maybe it takes wolves to take on wolves - who else has a chance at taking on Soros, who has his hands, and billions, all through the Dem party, pushing his vision of borderless elites running the entire world, and implementing it through funding domestic terrorism.

Turn and face the strange.
Whadda we want ?
Incremental change !
When do we want it ?
In due course !
Cautious observer thus far pleasantly surprised
In 2020, we need a heated primary battle between Sanders and Warren - two aging white Northeast liberals. It would be so fab.
"Cruel neutrality?"

There should be something in between "I love it" and "Cruel neutrality." Sad poll!

You don't remember the long discussion (multiple posts) of the best candidate to support to oppose Trump at the Wisconsin level?
He only remembers what suits him.

Hurts, doesn't it?
Thanks for providing evidence that it's cruel.
When I voted for I love it I thought I would be in the minority.
Pleasantly surprised.
I'm amazed at how quickly the conventional has been turned upside down and how few people recognize it.
@Althouse, I fall somewhere between #2 and #3. I thought about voting twice but picked one and am sticking with it.
Ann, I did not realize that "cruel," and not "neutrality," was the operable word.
Ann, I hope you also appreciate my "CRUEL neutrality" towards you as well.
Trump has too much of a mouth, and he has some bad ideas. He is not a libertarian, free trader, small government. But, he is WAY better than the presented alternative.

And Ann, I take it that adding neutrality after cruel is just "civility bullshit" on your part.
The danger here for Trump is if the MSM/Dem narrative of chaos takes hold. Chaos. Chaos. Chaos.

So....we'll see.......

3% GDP growth and nobody important will care about chaos.
The baby has gestated for less than three weeks and has already been declared non-viable by abortionists Planning to cannibalize it.

What we hear.
So far I feel like Trump and his toy boys are running around the White House and pressing all the buttons to see what they do.
Melania is not having any of this...
No question about it. Trump is rude and crude.
Just like America.

It looks like the revolution is a bust. How much of a bust is yet to be seen.

@karenfrFL, the self-evident truth of the assertion escaped you? Yet you try to present yourself as an educated individual. Sad!

Every time leftists take power they seek to control the speech and thoughts of others. They never change.

Too bad there wasn't an option to vote "present."

Tell you what...show me an economic system that has accomplished a tenth as much as capitalism in improving the lives of the common man.

That's just #51 - karenfrFL.
Halfway between #11 and ol' '55.
Pfft.
