"No one saw it happen, but a crack 50' wide and 6 football fields long has opened in Wyoming..."

WaPo quotes some "experts" "allay[ing the] fears" of social media folk who are speculating about volcanoes and earthquakes.

In recent weeks, PBS has been broadcasting a Nova show about sink holes. The show is very interesting.

Yellowstone Caldera is gonna blow. Thanks Obama.

This is obviously caused by fracking, but global warming cannot be completely ruled out.

Guide and expert geologist, no doubt.

I blame Bush.

"Seth Wittke from the Wyoming Geological Survey said that from what he had seen and deduced from pictures, the phenomenon may have been the result of a slow-moving landslide which was prompted by underground lubrication. In this case, it may have been affected by a spring."

I still blame Bush. For that spring.

'Social media' is (are) the biggest sinkhole of all.

I watched the video linked in the tweet. It is Bush's fault, and the underground lubrication thing has got to be Cheney/Halliburton's fault. Why can't we just arrest both of them and make the world safe again??

I'm pretty sure it was upwards of a thousand Sioux and Cheyenne warriors and a shitload of bad judgment.

There's quite a bit going on in Wyoming that no one ever sees.

There are 3.5 times more people in Marion County Indiana (where I live) than live in the entire state of Wyoming.
