Announcement that the announcement about the police shooting of Tony Robinson will happen on Tuesday.

As promised, we're being notified in advance:
Dane County District Attorney Ismael Ozanne said Sunday he will announce on Tuesday whether a Madison police officer will face criminal charges for fatally shooting 19-year-old Tony Robinson on March 6....

“Given the history, we don’t anticipate District Attorney Ismael Ozanne to charge or to find that there’s probable cause to charge the officer with violating criminal statute. Just like everyone else, we’re just waiting for full disclosure of what happened in those few seconds,” [said Everett Mitchell, of the Young, Gifted and Black Coalition].

In a statement released Sunday, [police spokesman Joel] DeSpain said that police would help facilitate safe movement of people in the event of demonstrations. “It is our belief that Madison can endure without being fractured.”

Reads like a good shoot to me.

Drugged up guy committing violence, multiple 911 cars, a close range surprise confrontation and an attack by the guy on the cop. The cop starts firing and keeps firing till the attacker goes down.

Case closed accept that there is a race angle, thus the actual, you know, facts, don't matter much....

Will the protestors be going to Hattiesburg to protest the police shooting at a traffic stop that left two men dead there?

Just wondering.

CNN just announced the announcement about the announcement.

Maybe it's a dog whistle announcing where the dog bone is likely to be found next ;)

Baltimore is old news.

This case is changing my mind on the death penalty.

Tony Robber-son should have been executed after his prior robbery and home invasion.

Work from home that day. Try to stay off the streets because even though police say they will facilitate safe movement of people, they will not be able to control those little darlings of YGB.

"Given the history..."

What kind of lead in is that? Why not be more direct? "Since police can get away with murder without ever being prosecuted....."

How about, "Given the facts in the case..."

If they riot, that'll be some short-term pain for Madison that may result in some longer-term good for the United States. 'Cause I don't think these riots are earning the Democrats a lot of adherents. Quite the opposite.

Subtext: We are planning to riot.

Sub-subtext: George Soros is hoping the civil unrest will damage Governor Walker.

I recommend the city keep its libraries open until midnight, so that the young and gifted can access the knowledge they are thirsty for.

The best solution to riots is volley fire.

If he doesn't charge the cop, we need a new amendment to the constitution. I suggest:

"A well regulated mob, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to a show trial, shall not be infringed."

I think the better line was NOT said by Napoleon when he offered the crowd a "Whiff of Grapeshot" e.g. cannon firing big shotgun blasts of pellets.

Patton, who actually did fire on rioters thought the better approach, still used today is snipers, prepared to take out the riot leaders....

Call him Ismael.

I think they should announce shootings in advance of the fact. That way you could say goodbye to your loved ones before the cops bust a few hollow points into your center body mass.

I'm pretty sure it's illegal NOT to riot if a cop is not indicted. Or even if he is indicted, for that matter.

In 2012, Wisconsin sold 585,736 resident deer licenses. That's over a half a million shooters with scoped high powered long guns. And that doesn't include those with long guns who don't hunt.

How many latte-sipping pajama-boy SJW types does the left have to throw at a half million-strong irregular militia? And when the SHTF, their puppetmasters may fly off in their private jets, but their mansions will be left behind to go up in flames.

I do not expect riots. They would have already happened. Given the facts of the case (how's that?), even the usual suspects for stirring up trouble probably understand that this is far from their best case.

You have to have a riot. How else will the Madison police department justify their mine-resistant armored vehicle if there's no riot? Duke and Coach K saw to it that there'd be no riot on the night of April 6th, so what's a police chief to do?
