Lindsey Graham says "The scumbags are the people in the White House who lied about" Benghazi.
He threw that in at the end of defending himself against a statement by "some guy... on the left" who'd said that "the only reason I cared about this was because I have six tea party opponents": "Well, if that’s true, I’m the biggest scumbag in America."

Hard to argue with Graham on that particular point.
Lying is only the half of it. You could pick apart the administration point by point but that's playing the administration's game. They aim to run out the clock as they dance away to the next point and back again until the public tires of the issue.
Or you could try to wake up the public by punching them square in the face by rightfully calling them scumbags. We need a little more Republican Joe Fraser to slow down the Democratic Ali.
Did she lisp when she said the word scumbag?
The last line of Andrew Kirell's squib is an eye-roller:
FYI: For those not familiar with the pejorative, a “scumbag” is a “contemptible or objectionable person,” but is slang for a used condom.
Good grief. Somewhere in America, a high school paper is missing its editor.
Thanks for your helpful help, Andy. I guess Senator Graham should have used "douchebag" instead.
That thought caused me to google the difference between the words, which was worth the 30 seconds of trouble.
A douchebag is essentially a stupid and silly person, while a scumbag appears to be morally corrupt and hopeless.
More succinct is this:
douchebags have more money.
My big question about Benghazi has never been answered by anyone: what if anything wAs the role of Samantha Powers (friend of Obama) now at UN on Benghazi?
Graham talked about himself in the third person in that interview. That's fingernails on a chalkboard to me.
Titus: "Did she lisp when she said the word scumbag?"
Ah yes.
Right on cue.
It's ok Titus.
We're discussing a situation where real men were killed defending their nations interest.
Special Operations men.
You wouldn't understand.
Thanks for playing. Now back to your triple latte starbucks fru fru coffee or whatever it is you order as you scope out your next partner.
Tommy Vietor on Fox with Brett Baeir was an embarrassment. He called Brett "Dude" and tried really hard to Weezer out of saying where Obama was that night "in the White House"
"Was he in the Situation room"
"You guys were reporting he was watching it on video feed, but that's so stupid"
"Were you in the situation room?"
"Yes"
"Did you see Obama in there"
"Not in the room that I was in...but I don't have a tracking device on him in the residence"
Really, a communications twerp.
Did she snap her fingers over her head after this announcement and then sashe chante to the door.
I urge Althouse and everyone to watch the Vietor interview on Fox. You will be dismayed to see the obvious weasely middle schoolers in the highest level of government.
Titus, Lindthey ith a duthbag.
And Mediaite says Graham says "they "lied" '. As if they can't tell and have no "opinion".
Tommy Vietor and his interview on Fox makes me think even more who the fuck do they have running things in the White House?
Dude, you sound like one of those idiots in Fast Times at Ridgemont High!
What an embarrassment.
@Drago: Those were unkind words towards Titus. He bears the load of many a furtive decision.
Maybee- I saw that today. It is not surprising when you look at the resumes of people like Ben Rhodes and Jen Psaki. They ted to be Communications or Poli-Sci majors who worked for political campaigns and/or so-called think tanks in the Imperial City.
In a just world, dopey dudes like Tommy Vietor would get hit tomorrow by a bus while talking mindlessly on his cell phone.
Pretty sure furtive loads aren't something Titus "bears".
limp chick lit passive aggressive are you still underemployed?
whassup with that helen?
Why?
What are you doing wrong?
A science person in San Diego, one of the science hubs of the U.S., not employed in the industry?
Let's talk.
limp chick passive aggressive is why you are underemployed because you are furtive and ugly and old?
Hopefully social security benefits are soon to follow...your future is bleak.
tits.
I heard Graham say that on Limbaugh. Glorious.
Correction: that was on Gallagher. Still getting used to the new radio lineup.
(WBAP Dallas/Fort Worth ditched its FM frequency for an HD FM frequency, which naturally my clock radio doesn't get, so I've had the alarm set to KSKY instead. I hate AM quality, even for talk radio.)
Be kind to Titus, there is nothing sadder than an aging old queen.
mccullough,
"Hey, talking about oneself in the third person sure worked for Bob Dole," said Bob Dole.
chickenlittle,
Please please do NOT mention 'Titus' and 'load' in the same sentence.
Is the video provocateur extraordinaire still in prison?
Remember when he said that about the scumbags that lied us into a war?
Senator Graham is using the wrong tense.
Where are they now, all the Government personnel who were present in Benghazi on 9-11-11?
Remember when he said that about the scumbags that lied us into a war?
Do you refer to Hillary Clinton? Or the French and British intelligence services?
"Lied us into a war" is a revisionist political statement manufactured by Democrats to undermine the very war they voted for, which also served to undercut those of us in the field fighting it at the time.
They, and you, gave succor and aid to an enemy force killing Americans on the battlefield. They, and you, are backstabbing traitors in my book.
You should be ashamed of it, but you cannot bring yourself to acknowledge your own culpability in aiding an enemy of the US in killing US Military personnel and prolonging the conflict. You had a chance to pick sides and you picked the enemy side. How evil and rotten of you.
For the left saying the only reason Lindsay cares is because of x,y,z what's their excuse for not caring at all?
Machine, those same scumbags would include almost the entire Democratic Party save perhaps Dennis Kucinich.
It certainly would include the previous administration, not to mention the entire security council on the UN.
Or are you forgetting Iraq pre George Bush? There is a history there.
I'll simply point out that regime change in Iraq was US policy since the end of Clinton's administration, and similarly the UN had passed not 1 but 15 resolutions for Iraq's malfeasance (and signed off on resolution 1441 unanimously under Bush).
So, there was no need to lie anyone into war. The issue was how to effect regime change. And I'll note, Bush did and Clinton did not.

I wonder if Kirell provides a definition of "tea bagger" when a leftist uses the term?
jr565: "There is a history there."
As noted many times before, for the left, history starts anew each day.
All the better for them to avoid having to address the inevitable results of their insane policies.
Lindsey is sort of a sissy boy. Don't get all up about it. He is our sissy boy. He probably does not know what scumbag means. That would be disgusting to him. He's a nice boy.
Sen. Graham is spending boxcars of money on TV down here. The typical ad is a mention of some bill he introduced or co sponsored followed by a voice over intoning "Lindsey Graham gets thing done" no mention that none of his bills have passed (thank goodness )
