I wonder if the fact that the Obamacare failure is coming across as a web failure - a kludgy site - will affect young Obamacare supporters far more (make them more negative about it) than the fact that if successful it will leave them in debt forever. It's not cool.
And also I wonder if it was the President who suddenly said that the site had to be radically changed two days before it went up. I mean who else could force HHS to disregard the screams that would have gone up from the developers? And who else would be protected by the wall of silence about whose bright idea that stupid idea was? And so Obamacare was a mess from the get-go in a way everyone understands instead of slowly becoming a mess in confusing statistical ways. It's exactly what is meant by hubris - the man never listened and was totally political and now once again he didn't listen and was totally political and as a result he has personally shot down his hoped-for legacy.
This is more than about a website (or several; I am as ignorant as Obama about these matters).
So far it has been a debacle about the customers (prospective patients) trying to get onto the sign-up site(s). They finally got some hundreds of thousands in, but now the insurance companies are hollering, because the applications passed on to them from the exchanges, are full of holes and must be pulled off the computers and researched and processed manually.
I would think the next storm of protests will come from the hospitals, clinics, and doctors when this crap gets down to them.
Next, the information from the doctors and hospitals is supposed to flow freely back up to the insurance companies and horizontally within the system, so that everybody, including the HHS, the IRS, and probably the NSA and FBI are all au courant at all times as to what our individual citizens' medical and financial conditions are.
I think that "Obamacrae" is more Harry Reid's "signature accomplishment" than Obama's, and I wonder what Harry Reid is thinking to choose this time to brag about his legislation writing skills!
As Valerie Jarrett told David Remnick in “The Bridge,” Obama’s “uncanny” abilities need to be properly engaged, or he disengages. “He’s been bored to death his whole life,” she said. “He’s just too talented to do what ordinary people do.”

Not going to happen, no-how!

And what is with Kathleen Sebelius telling Congress she can't find time to testify for them because she has an invitation to a party in Boston?
Obama appointees can ignore congress as long a Eric Holder is Attorney General. All enforcement actions go through him.
It's like being in charge of the Interior Ministry in Eastern Europe in 1948.

That is such a beautiful picture of a dog I'll bet you could sell it to Purina to put on a bag of dog food.
