How about the fact that there are no self-declared atheists in national public office, that there are no Protestants, never mind Muslims, Hindus or atheists on SCOTUS, that the last president fluent in a foreign language was Teddy Roosevelt, that there are no Blacks, Hispanics or Native Americans to be seen in any of our national parks and forests?
I know it's late to comment, but architecture! You and Meade seem to be interested alot in it (FLlW docent, Meade's interest in container houses, things like that), but while I get that y'all have an interest, it's a blog starvation diet as to where you're heads are at. Whatever architectual Meadehouse nutrition we get, is generally pictures, not blog blather. Politics and topics of the day so consume our focus and talk. I'm sure the Eygptians could conceive little beyond pressing politics of the court, but all of it, no matter how pressing, has vanished; their architecture remains and speaks. Troy must have had some terrific discussions towards the end, but all that is left is "the german dug it up."
What about increase in number of mass shootings under Obama - what does this tell us about Obama?
And what about the position of African-Americans which has substantially worsened under Obama - unemployment up, DC vouchers abolished, public schools still in decline in the inner city, immigrants replacing African-American workers at faster and faster rates. Is Obama doing nothing because he gets the African-American vote no matter what he does? Would African-Americans be better off under Romney who would have to prove himself?
And also - why are African-American students doing so poorly in Milwaukee and Madison - at the bottom with Detroit - when 30 years ago they were half way up the scale?

Isn't Bloggingheads a conversation? It would really matter who the other person is.
The Navy Yard Shooting media coverage... and what's missing from it?
There is always the Zimmerman Trial.
If I were recording one of those Bloggingheads diavlogs this morning, what would you like to hear me talk about?
So this is what Bloggingheads has stooped to... phone sex?
The myth of people starving in America.
How about political correctness on America's campuses?
Bob Dylan's role in legitimizing country music for the young generation; why it worked, or didn't work.
"corporate-money-soaked minorities"
Obviously.
What would it be like if Second Amendment rights were treated the same way that other fundamental constitutional rights are treated?
For those unhappy with gun rights, why don't they seek to repeal/alter the Second Amendment?

Why rightist men still want to deny equality between the sexes.

The new Polanski related memoir if you've read it.

An introspective question:
"Which of my (Ann's) convictions is the most likely to be wrong?"
Same question for the other blogging head.
