It's really so sad, the loss of so many children from the storm.

Logic applied.

Vicki picks up and holds a toy when she wants us to go out and do something, but it's not a toy that she wants to play with. It's a toy that she thinks I want to play with.

Once outside, she drops it and goes sniffing, which is what she had in mind. Dogs lie.

Today she picked up her peanut butter remnant jar instead of a toy, which I think is a grammar mistake.

Perhaps she has generalized to "hold something I'm allowed to hold."

She's very good on mine and thine. She leaves mine alone, and picks up what's been given to her as meaning she wants us to go outside.

Last of the grass scheduled to have its tops scythed level today, and then it's back to the front and start over.

Basically a scythe is outdoor gym equipment.

Actually halfway through the acre, in the spring, you have to trim up the front again briefly as well.

You can't fool me. That's purple in a very bright light.

"Dogs lie."

Among humans and pet's that's called street smart. I'm always amazed at how street smart little kids and pets can be.

True liberal compassion on display.

Lavender Twist?

No, the Teaberry Shuffle.

You guys are road tripping and you don't want to share the pictures.

Well, 66 is right, they are gorgeous.

And I don't mind the fisheye.

Unless I get it from The Blonde.

Yeah, that Lizz Winstead, she's a compassionate one ain't she? Bless her heart. I'm going to be looking for her and her friends at the clean-up efforts.

But, no worries. We'll soon have some outrage against those Tea Party protestors at the IRS offices. Those orderly gray-haired assholes are the real offenders. I bet they'll even carry flags and pick up after themselves. Racist haters.

As Louis L'Amour once observed, "To kill a man is not necessarily to make an end of him".

The Choom Gang and the Ozark Mafia better hope this doesn't pan out.

Now we know why DHS has been buying all the ammo.

And, just when you thought Injustice At Justice couldn't get any better, Sharyl Attkisson says something's been going on with her computers for 2 years.

Lavender Twist sounds like a drink at a gay bar. I also foresee a Chip Ahoy animation coming up!

I knew there was something about Meade's avatar that reminded me of something I've seen before.

Somebody else may have pick up on it... but at this point, what difference does it make?

I know, I'm belaboring the point.

The point is that, it doesn't make any difference if the difference is more two nickels... one for a chocolate bar, and the other for a phone call.

Redbud pods can be eaten. If you pick them at the right time, they can be cooked like snow peas, which they resemble. They don't taste as good, otherwise they would be in the grocery store. Dried ones can be treated like dried red beans, which they smell exactly like when cooking. They have to be soaked and cooked a lot longer than store bought beans—good with rice. It's a lot of work to get the small beans out of the pods. Something that might be useful to know when TSHTF.

Lavender's blue, dilly dilly,
Lavender's green
When you are king, dilly dilly,
I shall be queen

Who told you so, dilly dilly,
Who told you so?
'Twas my own heart, dilly dilly,
That told me so

Call up your friends, dilly, dilly
Set them to work
Some to the plough, dilly dilly,
Some to the fork

Some to the hay, dilly dilly,
Some to thresh corn
Whilst you and I, dilly dilly,
Keep ourselves warm

Lavender's blue, dilly dilly,
Lavender's green
When you are king, dilly dilly,
I shall be queen

Who told you so, dilly dilly,
Who told you so?
'Twas my own heart, dilly dilly,
That told me so.

Found this by way of Protein wisdom, where our lovely Darleen posts:

Choom sitting on something that has top aides terrified.

They're asking what it might be.

I do have a theory...

I know there is a lot of scandal to interest everyone but I miss the country of the day report. It was a nice educational lesson.

Denver tea party protest a total blow out.

Took a cab and said, "Loop around as if to come straight home and I'll see if it's worth stopping." It wasn't worth stopping.

Passed the capitol, small protest there too.

The cab driver was more interesting. Democrat. Full on. Thinks it's all nonsense, because, you see, during the time of Reagan, he tried the same thing and

That was Nixon.

Yes! Nixon he tried to do that

He DID do that, and other abuses too. Things that are happening now

I don't thinks so. There are laws now because Democrats checked Nixon and I don't believe a single thing Republicans say these people don't want to pay taxes look at them, oh no, not for them, they're all rich, they're against Social Security, they wanted to kill it since FDR, they don't want to pay taxes.

They are Walmart shoppers. Responsible citizens, don't mind paying taxes but object to corruption. Did you see those ships in the Brown Hotel?

What boats? The Ship Tavern?

Yes, Did you see those boats? I love those boats they get me every time. You keep a very clean cab.

Thanks I take it down there to that place once a week.

Fast and Furious/Benghazi investigative reporter Sharyl Attkisson: Something fishy’s been going on with my computers since early 2011...

That's the problem with these reporters... they think the world is just about them ;)

edutcher said...

Those guys must be having a real breakdown.

First, they came for the AP, but it was only phone records.

Next, they came for some reporters, but they were only from Fox.

Then, they came for Sharyl Atkisson, but she's an embarrassment because she reports real stuff.

The journolisters must be wondering, "Could they be watching ME?". When this is all over, they'll be able to write term papers on what it was like to live in Moscow in the 1930s.
