I'm not sure about the eliminating numbness claim. I suppose that would depend on how much it's used.
Glad you got the business, but those are some funky-*ss whisky glasses.
I myself prefer the glencairn style, but hey, different strokes....
And who gets nose burn or numbness from a quality Single-Malt?
Even the Lagavulin doesn't do that.

Sorry, but I find it amusing that a wine shop sells "Whiskey" glasses that look like spittoons.
However, I admit I have no taste.
Worry not, Aridog. Make up for it with added scientific purpose.
I drink whiskey (at present, Queen Jennie from the Old Sugar Distillery) from Old Fashioned glasses I stole from my parents' house.
Queen Jennie?
Does she make the nose burn?
"At present"?! 3:53PM, I note.
What you academicians get away with!
Do you people not know the difference between whisky and whiskey? Whiskey is made in Kentucky. Whisky is made in in Scotland, Ireland, Canada, and Tennessee.
Nonsense, only the Scots make whisky.
But you were thinking of bourbon. Only Kentucky makes bourbon. Everyone else makes one or another form or spelling of whiskey with or without the E.
I am quite confident of this, having learned it in my youth, but I just checked a bottle of Bushmills I happen to have beside me and it does have the E.
Ach.
My Irish ancestors added the "e" to distinguish themselves from my Scots ancestors, who couldn't spell.
Kentucky...where Bourbon County is dry and Christian County is wet..
"At present"?! 3:53PM, I note.

It's 3:53 PM somewhere.
Great Post! But you might just want to try having irish ancestry , it would be really Interesting!
