"There are some good things" about being "robotic."

"Discipline comes to mind. But it sounds like there is just no emotion. People that know me, I don’t think they would say that. I certainly am not a fist-pounder. That isn’t my style. But that and emotion are two different things. One is just a way of expressing it, basically. So, anyway."

Says Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple (picked by Steve Jobs).

I think a robot built by Apple would be pretty effective.

The first truly effective robots will be military.

The housecleaning 'bots will come later. Much later.

Strong work ethic people probably do look robotic to the undisciplined.

I read Apple may be building new iMacs in the US.

Wow. Tim Cook may be the first non-flamboyant gay man to ever make it on TV. I thought all gay men were ripped, fab, fashion-conscious to a fault, super-effeminate, and generally outrageous. At least that's the impression one would get from watching Bravo, network sitcoms, and interior design shows.

By TV's gay standards, Tim Cook is a complete bore.

Mr. Cook's words are pretty funny if you read them out loud in a robot voice.

The place where I last worked, the boss, who was about as "human" as you could get, was replaced by a similar type of number cruncher.

It's been downhill there ever since.

People don't believe you if you rationally explain your objections to something. They figure you're not actually upset and maybe making it all up for some other reason.

So you learn to emote.
