A little before dawn yesterday ,we observed the crescent moon in close proximity to a morning star, Venus, as it turns out. The moon and Venus both rose around 5 AM yesterday, according to the almanac.
A tiny crescent moon might be seen in the west tomorrow just after sunset if the sky is clear... And, it should be fairly close to Mars at sunset on Friday...
