We already did this story in 2006.
Of course we didn't tie-in the Packers.
Iowahawk is very funny. This is a continuing trope that he's mined.
After the Katrina hurricane, he published a similar bit about Iowans responding to a similar crisis. The Iowans refused to seek Federal assistance and just went about the business of cleaning up and repairing the damage.
The stoic self-reliance of the white middle class is a favorite them of Iowahawk. He's right, too.
Armstrong and Getty were taken off the air by Clear Channel for suggesting insulting Mohammud continuously until the Muslims grow up.
Clear Channel is your sensitive network.
The podcast was disappeared. It never happened.
They've insulted cheese. Off with their cheese heads!!!
Iowahawk is great in short forms.
The longer works are like trombone solos.
That's what was always wrong with allegory. Stick to metaphor, if simile won't cut it.
Can't trust them cheeseheads.
Belmont Club points out that "hate speech" is the US religion's form of blasphemy.
John of John and Ken said that Whitney Houston was a crack whore and who cared about her anyway, and riots erupted. Clear Channel took them off the air too.
Our rioters are hate speech spotters.
Iowahawk is great in short forms.
Yeah, he's kind of like most onion articles. The title is the joke, the rest is just filler.
What an odious parody.
If Scott Brown staffers can be criticized for mocking a phony Indian, Professor Warren, with a Tomahawk Chop", Iowahawk should be criticized for this mocking of actual Muslims with what could be called the "Hassan Chop!".

Gotta disagree. Read the Zarkman series. Perhaps not everyone's cup of tea, but I found it hilarious.
"Belmont Club points out that "hate speech" is the US religion's form of blasphemy."
Seen any criminal prosecutions lately? Not for speech alone.
The last was Don Imus.
He almost lost his show.
Not that I'm an Imus fan.
Washawonamowackapeepee, Is that the tribe with High Creek Bones that Lizzy Warren says she's a member of; her family lore to be precisely correct? Nah, she can’t be a follower of the Holy Vince can she? OBTW: What happened the other day when the Cheeseheads played played one of those far western fish eating tribes?
"The longer works are like trombone solos."
Yes. But know one says you have to soldier on to the last fading note. It's OK just to stick around long enough to catch the melody, and then walk away humming.
You have to love a parody involving Wisconsin that breaks down into a list of all the funny sounding places in this state.

OMG! You've disrespected J. J. Johnson and Kai Winding, jazz favorites of mine. [Really] Blasphemy!
Now I shall organize some rabble to run bug eyed through the streets screaming and setting farts afire.
That'll learn ya'.
I follow him on Twitter... this guy is a constant source of amusement.

Like sands through the hourglass, so are the days of our lives.
Just like Mohammed the faces of the NFL referees at the Packer-Seahawks game last Monday are never shown in all those thousands of replays of The Incident. But suppose they were and it turned out they were from Menomonee. What would Wisconsin do? Not behead. Throw cheese at them wherever they went? I may be wrong but I think that Wisconsin would consider "casting them out from being 'of Wisconsin' " as the ultimate act of revenge. Like Bret Farve. This casts a light on the Islamists currently in the news - for them the ultimate response is not to categorize someone as "infidel". They seem to realise that people might not care. They seem to know that if they weren't beheading right and left, the infidels would increase in number. Not that religion and football are comparable (one is on Sunday and the other on Monday) but still there are some remote analogies.
Lombaridianistic Packerism is NOT a religion of Peace. George W. Bush wouldn't bother with nation building, he'd just bomb the place flat.

Wait, you mean all those places really exist? Holy crap!
rhhardin,
The longer works are like trombone solos.
Do you know Luciano Berio's Sequenzas? They are solo-instrument pieces, and there is one for trombone. At about the midpoint of the piece, the trombonist is directed to turn to the audience and say, "Why?"
All I ask is that you think before pissing off a cheesehead, does that violate your free speech rights?! The Midwest is a massive grill just on the brink of flaring up. We will wash the streets in beer, brats will be incinerated.
No one gets out sober.
rhhardin,
You never heard my niece play the Mario Brothers on the trombone. It was a quartet of St Olaf trombonists
"Violent mobs erupt in Wisconsin after the publication of crude Vince Lombardi cartoons."
Someone should inform this correspondent that the numerous media outlets across Wisconsin make the possibility that such violence would go unreported highly unlikely.
meanwhile riots in Houston apparently over the Astros impending move to the American League of faux baseball
Wait, you mean all those places really exist? Holy crap!
The last one (Washawonamowackapeepee) is the joke one.
NEVER APOLOGIZE FOR YOUR ART.
