The Wisconsin race now shifts from Safe Republican to a Toss-Up in the Rasmussen Reports Senate Balance of Power rankings.Elsewhere on Rasmussen, the daily presidential tracking poll has Obama at 46% and Romney at 45%. The swing tracking poll has the same numbers, Obama 46%, Romney 45%.
Thompson enjoyed a bounce after winning his primary last month. Now the race has returned to where it was in July when Baldwin posted leads over all her potential Republican opponents including Thompson. This marks Baldwin’s highest level of support to date.
September 21, 2012
Tammy 49%, Tommy 46%.
Says Rasmussen, today.

So we're pretty much dead even.
It was fucking hilarious when Thompson complained that he is losing because Romney is such a shitty candidate that it's dragging Thompson down.
Thompson didn't run when it was hard work (to oust Feingold), and then he did run when old Kohl vacated a seat, and now he's whining that this effort isn't easy enough.
Not bad for a "predictable loser", and someone who is "all but doomed to lose to Tommy Thompson", and outside Madison, "the rest of Wisconsin — including many Democrats — are going to vote for Tommy Thompson".
"Mitt Romney might win the presidency riding on Tommy's coattails."
Ah, memories.

Old rich white guys feeling entitled to power in America? This is my surprised face.
You mean like Harry Reid and Teddy Kennedy, and Pelosi Galore?
Is there a party id breakdown?
A reasonable D+2 to D+4 or the D+12 that Marquette tried to pull yesterday?
"Old rich white guys feeling entitled to power in America?"
Moochers! 47%ers!!
I said long ago that TT wouldn't work hard enough.
I do, however, think that TT running some ads will put this race right back in his favor. He used all of his money to win the primary and had to restock the campaign coffers.
Whatever Thompson did to start closing that 15 point gap just a couple days ago needs to happen more!

Those who have assumed that Wisconsin would never elect ultra liberal dancing Tammy should remember that the state elected Herb Kohl and Russ Feingold numerous times. Herb and Russ are as liberal as you can get, pretty much of the same mind set as Tammy. Herb was widely assumed to be a gay man, and just about nobody gave a damn about that one way or another.
Andy, respect your elders. Tommy Thompson is a decent man who worked hard for Wisconsin for a long time. With luck, you will be an old white man some day too. If you have 10% of the accomplishments of Tommy Thompson, you will have had a productive life.

Those were different financial times, David. Is Baldwin a fiscal conservative? What evidence is there of this? My most enduring impression of her is walking side-by-side with Jesse Jackson during the Capitol Occupation, demanding more for State employees.

I do not understand.
PBS news reports Romney losing badly in the pools.
Who predicted Walker would beat the recall? Handily yet! I no longer pay attention to polls, they're like newspapers and news reporters. If there is no conflict there is no story. Now instead of everyone realizing that going full retard communist doesn't win you the Oscar, both parties, and the news people are going to keep hiring pollsters so that they can keep announcing that "It's within the margin of error!"
It's not. Walkers recall vote showed that it wasn't. Zero and the dem's are going down in flames. If you keep buying the product though, they'll keep selling it to you.
