Is it possible that the media is perceptive enough to realize how dumb his "documentary" is and have reacted accordingly?
Andy R: Is it possible that you are bigoted, stupid and close-minded enough that you are unable to offer any support your taunts and unable to understand that supporting one's claims is a big part of reasoned discussion?
No way I'm going to see this before I've seen Ambassador Patterson's review from Cairo. (Going to see 'ParaNorman' tomorrow instead-- she gave it four white flags out of four!)
I guess the media could report on the "documentary" but they would have to note how dumb all the people are who think that Obama wants to bring America down because of an inherited legacy of Kenyan anti-colonial ideology he picked up from a man he hardly knew. And that would just lead to more conservative whining.
Also, does anyone know how much attention the "documentary" is getting on Fox?
Andy, judging a movie or book without consuming it yourself is the height of close-mindedness. I expect you to be a more critical thinker. You're better than that.

Translation:
Anything I don't like is dumb.
Most of us gave up that attitude when we got into first grade.
PS Why did he call the book, "Dreams From My Father", genius?
Clearly, that's where his affinity lay. Lord knows, he doesn't like women.
Any women.
Just because it embarrasses you doesn't make it any less true.
D'Souza needs to get over himself. His movie has grossed about 23 million in a month, about the same that Fahrenheit 9/11 grossed in its first weekend (going on to gross about 222 million).
I guess the media could report on the "documentary" but they would have to note how dumb all the people are who [agree with the movie's premise]
Because what's reporting without editorial commentary? Facts are boring things -- the audience will never figure out what to think about them if you don't tell them, first.
I remember when Fahrenheit 9/11 came out, not only was Michael Moore everywhere in the media he was also given a prime spot at the democratic convention. Remember that Andy?
I remember when Fahrenheit 9/11 came out, not only was Michael Moore everywhere in the media he was also given a prime spot at the democratic convention.
Yeah, but they lost that year.
So all things considered, it is hard to be upset that they devoted so much effort to kissing Moore's ample hindquarters.
Well Axelplouffe and the rest of the poofters in the White House/Obama campaign have mentioned the movie. They calim it's a pack of lies--which of course is the best validation of the truth of D'Souza's assertions.
Andy R. wrote: So by "prime spot", you mean he had a particularly nice chair to sit in and watch the convention?
Yeah, he sat next to an ex president. That propagandist. Imagine for a second if D'inesh got a prime spot at the republican convention for his work and sat in the plum spot next to George Bush or John Mccain. I imagine the lefties (including you, would be howling at the prospect). maybe that's a reason why they should in fact do it.
sat next to "other high-ranking party alumni at the '04 convention."
Other than his hit piece on George Bush which was readily adopted by most democrats (at least most of the talking points) and certainly almost EVERY lib arguing against George Bush on the internet, how was Michael Moore some high ranking party alumni? He wasn't. He was given that seat of honor because he was the democratic prograndist who had just delivered some meat for the dems to gorge on right before the election.
maybe that's a reason why they should in fact do it should read, should have done it. But I guess they can still seat him during the debates. Hey, here's an idea. Why not make D'inesh one of the moderators?
It sounds far fetched, after all he's a critic of the president who made a movie highly critical of the president. Well what about Gwen Ifill. She wrote a book praising Obama andstill got to serve as a moderator all the while professing objectivity.
Andy, sorry but yet again, all the talk about the media is just realizing how dumb this documentary is is cover for how in the tank for Obama the media is. To the point where MSNBC cut away nearly every time a minority spoke at the republican convention to continue with their meme that republicans can't stand minorities and the tea baggers are a bunch of rednecks who only hate Obama because he's black and not because he has disastrous policies.
All D'inesh did with his movie (not that I've seen it mind you) is use obama's own words from his books combined with his actions to show what his mindset really is. I don't think he thinks he's out to destroy America. His idea of hope and change which diminishes America would be his idea of a social good. Doesn't make D'inesh wrong. And at any rate, when Obama was talking about fundamental change, he was talking about a change from what to what? Was it a society run on free market principles, or something else? Something more fair (in his mind).
Most libs/dems never really bothered to think beyond what change actually meant, they just heard the word chagne and had an instant orgasm. The smarter ones did in fact know what he meant, which is why they voted for him. ANd in fact would agree with many of the very principles that D'inesh said guided Obama.
Moore's propaganda movie was released all over the globe and shaped the opinion of a lot of foreign nationals. Then after promoting that, the Democrats were all, "the rest of the world doesn't like Bush! We can't re-elect him!"

Oh, that liberal media.
You mean the truth?
God, woman, we can't have that.
It destroys everything we've set up.
Is it possible that the media is perceptive enough to realize how dumb his "documentary" is and have reacted accordingly?
The MSM is overwhelmingly Leftist. If you always keep this basic truth in mind nothing they do will surprise you.
Andy, the absolutely whack job "Loose Change" video received blanket coverage in the media.
Because it accused Bush of being the mastermind of 9-11.
Watch it on YouTube. The production values are laughable. It was produced by a then high school kid in Woodstock.
Perhaps Andy R, who has evidently seen the film, will tell the rest of us what's dumb about it.

What about the movie, "Never Worked in Life: The True Story about Ann Romney" by Hilary Rosen?
Will people cover this movie? Will people see this movie?
What about Michelle who worked and reached the top? What about Jill who got a doctoral degree?
Why is GOP not realizing that the Obama-Biden campaign CANNOT LOSE. We have the press. Do you not see? We have the POWER to sway public opinion.
We want Obama to win. We need Obama to win.
Q.E.D.

Well, Andy R, they sure missed the boat on Moore's propaganda films. Somehow, they always seem to be taken in by the same folks. Funny, that.
Don't believe D'Souza, in a lightening fast conversion Obama has done a 180 and now asserts that America IS exceptional after all!!!
Scout's honor that's what Obama's flacks are putting out to counter 2016.
What about Michelle who worked and reached the top?
Moochelle is a professional Negress, you twerp.
"Is it possible that the media is perceptive enough to realize how dumb his "documentary" is and have reacted accordingly?"
No.
they pretended Rush didn't exist for a long time, too. Even after the 1994 election.

I hope they do get a network to air it. Even a second-tier cable network would be fine. I'd like to see it but won't make it to a theater.
It's funny when the left whines about Fox.

Joe, I haven't notice that Andy is "better" than anything.
Joe,
Andy, himself, would probably reject your "faith-based" belief, given that there is no empirical evidence to support it.

I've always thought that actually seeing Moore in person likely made people LESS interested in paying attention to him.
Every time I see that pasty wad of beard stubble I have to fight down the urge to see if he has Carrie Fisher chained to him in a bikini.

Based on what, exactly?
I wonder if this is how Rome fell.
The news people just stayed in Cesar's pocket and kept mute till the Visigoths were at the gates.
Cause, you do see,the more they ignore the truth, the harder that truth will hit when things can't keep going on as they are.
And it's getting real hard for things to keep going as they are.

http://old.nationalreview.com/york/york200407280119.asp
What are you talking about?
Moore was seated in the "Presidential Box" with Jimmy Carter and other high-ranking party alumni at the '04 convention.
Now, personally, I would consider it an insult to be seated with Carter -- but that's just me. :)
he was also given a prime spot at the democratic convention

Most Americans have never heard of it. Fewer have ever seen it.
They are just pretending it doesn’t exist.
Kind of like Fast & Furious.
